The Coach House is the largest of the accommodations at Swainsley Cottage. Well appointed and comfortable with all provided that one could want.
There are plenty of walks straight from the cottage (the owner Chris has plenty of suggestions and the maps to go with them) - as well as direct access to the Manifold Trail - for cycling as well as walking.
Country pubs abound with good food and excellent English ales - and tea shops of course.
Also just a short drive to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Jodrell Bank - as well as Alton Towers - i.e. something for everyone.
The 3 properties at Swainsley Farm made a perfect place to celebrate a family occasion. All were furnished and equipped to a very high standard and cleanliness excellent. The outside areas provided a very pleasant setting with generous amounts of tables and seating, attractive flowers and shrubs - again everything maintained to a high standard. The views of the valley and hills were lovely. The owners, Liz and Chris, were always happy to help and advise. (The strawberry jam was delicious.)
