We took my wife away for her 40th as a surprise, this cottage was the perfect dream get away from the hustle and bustle of London! The views are outstanding, the hot tub in the morning with snow on the horizon and sun peeping through is an experience we will never forget. The owners were so nice and accommodated all our needs above and beyond! Highly recommend this little hidden beauty in the peaks!
This is our second visit to this property which says it all. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. Walks from the door are a bonus while it is no great distance to get bigger towns like Bakewell and Buxton. The view down the valley is spectacular. Chris and Liz are charming and helpful hosts. We hope to visit again in the near future.
We have been to Swainley Farm and the Haybarn over many years and it remains an excellent place to stay. We live in London so the peace of Swainsley Farm is always something we enjoy. Chris and Liz are wonderful hosts and we recommend Swainsley Farm as a great place for a holiday.
