The Pod is perfect for singles, couples or even three adults. With a sea view, this luxury. dog-free pod really does have a sleek and contemporary feel. It is thoughtfully set back in a provate field, shielded from the elements by a boundary wall and has its own private parking.

We stayed in the Pod for 2 nights and loved every minute of it. The pods are clean, spacious and cosy, and the estate is the perfect quiet location. Would definitely recommend visiting!

Thank-you so much for a fantastic stay at the Pod. We stayed in Stable Cottage a few years ago, and so this was a return trip for a special occasion. It was a rainy weekend, and so we spent a lot of time in the pod itself, which was warm and cosy, with a beautiful view of the sheep in the field below. We did quite a bit of cooking in the kitchen area, which was brilliant - all high-quality equipment and the coffee machine was a highlight! We enjoyed a swim in the newly refurbished swimming pool as well. All in all, a great place for a little bit of a luxury in a beautiful location.

I loved everything about this pod from it's cozy and minimal interiors, how quick it warmed up, to how well equipped the little kitchen was. The privacy was really appreciated and we loved the sea views when eating outside. The grounds are fantastic, and plenty of local walks with easy access to Tywyn & Aberdyfi beaches. Loved the heated pool with bird filled branches on the Yew Tree. A piece of heaven.

The pod was so comfy and had all we need for our stay. Added little extras of codmffew, tea, biscuits was a great touch. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend staying here, its close to all the nature spots you could wish for, along with gorgeous little towns and villages. The perfect place to explore, though, if you want a day looking around the grounds and going in the pool thats just as nice! x

The Pod was everything we could have hoped for and more. The most equipped and luxurious pod we came across when searching online.
The pool is a great addition to the site especially on rainy days and due to the rural location.

Only thing I would say is to add some detail into the guidebook so guests know where to find the bench. Which provided amazing views of the sunset.
We followed the guidebook by contacting the hosts when it came to trouble with the fridge, we got a prompt reply saying we could turn it down. This would also be a good addition to the guidebook.

These aren’t negative points but we felt bad having to contact the host for these tiny bits of information, so adding this info to the guidebook would prevent this.

The house keeper Kate paid us a visit and was also lovely, she even provided us with bedding for my partners child, which we weren’t expecting so brought our own. It was much appreciated.

Overall no negative points, the hosts are prompt to reply, they allowed us to check in early, we had a lovely stay, and thoroughly enjoyed our time.
Would definitely return again.

A weekend I will never forget - Llanfendigaid will always have a special place in my heart.

Not only a collection of beautiful buildings in a truly remote and magical location, but each property has been beautifully done up, and carefully considered. The cleaning team are incredible, accommodating and friendly. Lisa, Gareth and the team were extremely responsive and helpful.

The pool is a wonderful addition, as is the BBQ area, and the viewing point at the top of the hill to watch the sun set and the dolphins cruise past!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Pod. The property itself was well equipped, extremely clean and had everything needed for a short break. Lots of activities just a stone's throw away and a very short distance to the coast (we enjoyed Walker's chip shop in Aberdyfi). Access to the indoor heated swimming pool was a really lovely bonus and we also enjoyed use of the table tennis equipment.

We would suggest perhaps some kind of curtain/cover for the porthole window for those of us who aren't such early risers - the sun streaming in very early was a bit disorientating, although the birdsong was enjoyed. Also maybe emailing some of the key directions as well as having it in the (very useful) app - for some reason our app hadn't downloaded properly and with no internet/phone connection we were lost in the lane for a short while until we followed our noses to the property!

Only suggestions not criticism and we would definitely return and recommend to others regardless - thank you!

A private getaway based in a very beautiful location. Lisa was very welcoming on my first day, the fact she had created an app to use was excellent it came in handy on many occasions. You have your own private garden to use with the option of the table tennis & pool facilities. The local walks were good fun albeit the weather stopped one of my treks up the local hill due to the downpour! There is a short walk to a local train station should you need to get anywhere beyond the local area. I mostly drove to where I wanted to go. There’s plenty to do & also a short walk to the beach which you can see the stunning views from the pod. You won’t be disappointed with your stay!

A hook for a hand/bath towel in the wet room/loo of the pod would have been useful. This is a very minor comment and is in no way a criticism. (I think I spotted a mark on the wall where a hook had probably fallen off? Too much weight?)

Beautiful location, really well-kept and clean - we were lucky to have the pool to ourselves too! It was a very relaxing and romantic getaway for my partner's 30th birthday - we drove about an hour to go canyoning in Snowdonia with Matt from Active Cymru and that was really cool too. It was really lovely getting a welcome/check-in email from The Llanfendigaid Estate too - I think if we'd have needed anything or had any issues (which we didn't) they'd have been quick and happy to sort them out. We were also able to park right next to the pod which was great as we didn't have to carry our belongings and food far. I would definately come back here.

The Llanfendigaid Estate is a truly unique and charming situation. The Pod is located in a peaceful corner of an enclosed field surrounded by hills and with the sea horizon beyond. It exceeded all our expectations for space and home comforts and was beautifully presented! There's also the lovely private indoor pool for estate guests. We easily explored the area on foot with the option of the local coastal railway route... then returning in the evenings to enjoy the peacefulness of our surroundings and the night sky. This is so much more than you would expect and highly recommended.

A great find in a peaceful spot where you feel you can get away from it all in comfort. Close to train station if you want to go out in a bigger town and good access to walk the coastal path. The pool was an added bonus which we were lucky enough to have to ourselves on both occasions. The accommodation is small but very comfortable and is a lovely unique stay as a change to staying in a hotel - this is much more personal. The owners were very helpful and their welcome pack covered everything you would need to know.

Highly recommended and beautiful area, would highly recommend if you love seclusion and peace and quiet, will be better when work on nearby property and pool is complete though, our stay wasn’t interrupted but we didn’t have use of the pool because of renovation unfortunately otherwise couldn’t fault anything.
Thank you for making our stay in the pod a new and enjoyable experience.
