Thank you for a lovely stay. As well as enjoying the beautiful coast and countryside within walking distance we enjoyed seeing the activities on the working farm. We also enjoyed chatting to the alpacas and goats and it was exciting seeing wild hares at dusk. The owners were very accomodating and helpful.
We had a lovely weekend at the beach cabin on the last weekend in October - and had the whole site to ourselves! We loved the location just steps away from the beach, the woodburning stove kept us super cosy, and the cabin was clean and comfortable. The staff were really nice and let us book for 2 nights instead of 3 because it was in the quiet season, and even gave us late checkout on the Sunday. I'd stay here again!
we have been and stayed with Harvest Moon in October for the last 3 years and we love it. The cabins are always clean and comfortable; there is always plenty of wood for the stove and the staff are amazingly friendly and willing to help with anything needed. would recommend
We had a wonderful four days in our cosy cabin by the sea. The children loved the animals and the freedom to run around outside, checking for eggs etc The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we’re coming back next year.
We stayed in a cabin with our two children (aged 1 and 5) and had the most wonderful time. The location is superb with the most beautiful beach just a couple of minutes walk. We went sledging in the sand dunes and swimming in the sea. The kids also loved the animals and building a fire.
We stayed in a treehouse over feb half term with our 9 & 6 year old. We all loved walking to the beach in the frost for sunrise, camp fires at night with marshmallows, making coffee on the range, sleeping with storm Otto’s winds whistling round us. It’s a beautiful, unspoilt site with lots of space between each treehouse but communal spaces too & our kids made some lovely friends to play with. Lots to see & do in the local area - we enjoyed Edinburgh zoo, going to Edinburgh on the train from Dunbar, the seabird sanctuary, dinner at hectors in Dunbar & the crown in east Linton. Very friendly we...more
Absolutely fantastic place to stay, was there for my son's wedding . The scenery was breathtaking .lovely break away
Excellent holiday. Kids just love this place, sledging down the sand dune’s, feeding the animals and of course the bonfires. The whole experience is honest good fun. Will be back again. Cheers
We had a brilliant weekend staying here. The cabins were exactly as described on the website. A very peaceful place!
We has an amazing stay at the Treehouse with kids (aged 9 and 2 yo). They loved the freedom of roaming around, building dens, playing with chickens and feeding alpacas, flying kites on the beach and roasting marshmallows on the open fire. We enjoyed slower pace of life and feeling close to nature! We will definitely be back!
The tree house was lovely. We actually stayed in treehouse 4 not 6. It has an annexe with a double bed which is great. We will be back. Thank you.
This beautiful glamping site is a dream come true for families. Right by the beach, secluded with plenty of wildlife, it's just heaven. We stayed in one of the Beach Huts for 3 nights- 4 adults, 2 7 year olds, a nine year old and a 6 month old baby. In the mornings the children ran about on site playing ball and in the afternoons we went to the beach where they slid down the sand dunes, swam in the sea and collected shells and rocks. The stove is great once it's going but it needs a good hour to heat up so bring your own camping stove if you're the kind that needs a coffee upon waking. The two...more
We really enjoyed our stay at Harvest Moon for my sisters wedding. It was everything we needed and wanted. The kids had so much fun feeding the chickens and alpacas. Only negative would be there was little to no hot water for the shower but I’m sure it’s an easy fix!
We were actually in treehouse 6, not that it matters to you as a guest. For a February stay, there were no problems with keeping warm, the heaters in the bedrooms really do a great job, and the wood fired stove was ready to go and easy to use, with plenty of well seasoned wood close by that you could help yourself to. Welcome pack was lovely, cereal, milk, bread, coffee, tea etc. A short walk takes you over the dunes to Ravensheugh sands, a stunning stretch of golden sand, empty but for a couple of hardy dog walkers. Lots of birdwatching, take your binoculars. Deer frequently pass over the tra...more
We had a 3 night stay for our daughters birthday. We had an amazing time, check in with Chris was easy, informal and really friendly. Beautiful location with lots of great walks round the area and a lovely beach a short walk away. Treehouses are well spaced out although we had the place to ourselves and it was so peaceful. Accommodation is spacious and had everything we needed, we came in March and can see this place is geared for better weather, although we love being outdoors and it is ‘glamping’ after all so we knew what to expect but I have to say we weren’t cold once! The fire and the lit...more
