We recently hosted an event at The Barn at Harvest Moon, and the entire experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The barn itself is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, warm, and welcoming, with just the right blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. We were a family with young children. Stayed in April and the weather was fairly wild and windy but we avoided the rain. We enjoyed going to the beach, sledging down the dunes, feeding the goats, lying in the hammocks and playing with the chickens who run around. The honesty shop was great and we got eggs for breakfast, and we borrowed some sledges. The big communal bonfire was lovely. Kids were nice and toasty in the cabin bed with hot water bottles, shower was warm, and we enjoyed cooking on the aga. No electricity but solar charging station worked well and tea-lights very atmospheric. Found...more
My wife and I and our two daughters aged 3 and 6 had a delightful and relaxing long weekend at Harvest Moon. The girls particularly enjoyed feeding the animals. This was our second visit and we'll certainly be back!
