Aylsham Windmill, Norfolk NRll 6NB. Unusual accommodation in the ancient market town of Aylsham. Perfectly placed, halfway between the fine city of Norwich and the coast at Cromer.
Built in 1826 Aylsham Windmill was a working flour mill for almost 100 years. It was unused for more than 80 years, and has now been converted into luxurious self catering accommodation for 6 people. The accommodation is on 4 floors linked by normal domestic stairs. Aylsham is ideally placed in the centre of North Norfolk. Explore the coast, the Broads and the city of Norwich.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful windmill to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The windmill had everything we needed & more & was spotlessly clean & tidy. We had a lovely meal in The Black boys in Alysham well worth a visit & only a ten minute walk from the windmill. It was a pleasure to stay in the windmill & we would be happy to return. Thank you Janet & Tim.
