Aylsham Windmill, Norfolk NRll 6NB. Unusual accommodation in the ancient market town of Aylsham. Perfectly placed, halfway between the fine city of Norwich and the coast at Cromer.
Built in 1826 Aylsham Windmill was a working flour mill for almost 100 years. It was unused for more than 80 years, and has now been converted into luxurious self catering accommodation for 6 people. The accommodation is on 4 floors linked by normal domestic stairs. Aylsham is ideally placed in the centre of North Norfolk. Explore the coast, the Broads and the city of Norwich.
Very comfortable and well-equipped property. We stayed with our son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren, and there was plenty of room. Tim and Janet were very welcoming.
It's just a little way out of Alysham town centre (about half a mile), but still walkable. Plenty of places within driving distance to explore, and the area has good bus services.
