Aylsham Windmill, Norfolk NRll 6NB. Unusual accommodation in the ancient market town of Aylsham. Perfectly placed, halfway between the fine city of Norwich and the coast at Cromer.
Built in 1826 Aylsham Windmill was a working flour mill for almost 100 years. It was unused for more than 80 years, and has now been converted into luxurious self catering accommodation for 6 people. The accommodation is on 4 floors linked by normal domestic stairs. Aylsham is ideally placed in the centre of North Norfolk. Explore the coast, the Broads and the city of Norwich.
We enjoyed a 2 night stay here with friends. The property has been renovated to a very high standard and is immaculate inside.
The accommodation is warm and comfortable and surprisingly roomy due to how the renovations have been done.
The welcome pack was a very thoughtful touch and made an immediate and positive first impression.
The owners were also very helpful
