Having stayed in the cottages previously before the farm house was available we were excited to see what it had become. We were not disappointed! Space, style, comforting, warming, an all round masterpiece. We hired 4 spaces including the house and used the house as a centre point. I had thought that it may feel squashed having 11 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs in one place but I was so wrong, at points it nearly felt empty! Firstly Brecon is a very nice small town with nice shops and nearby walks. The cottage is aprox 15 min drive and lovely Builth Wells less than 30 mins. Your host Danielle is a phone call away should you need her. Cottage is comfy and warm. (We were in Hornbeam) The kitchen is good with ample cooking equip. We ate in for all our evening meals. We had 2 sofas in lounge and 2 very comfy beds. Good bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. We would have ate on the balcony but it was a rainy week! We had booked out all the available accommodation apart from the farm house for a family gathering to celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday. We enjoyed the facilities including the pool, hot tubs, games and playpark - there was something for everyone. The views were amazing and the host welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the celebration.
We had a wonderful few days at Vale Farm staying in Chestnut Cottage. The cottage was well equipped and the beds were really comfortable. The added bonus of a pool, hot tub, stunning views and great places to walk made it an ideal place to spend quality time with family and friends. We would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay with children, dogs and friends. The pool and hot tub were perfect at entertaining the children and we enjoyed lovely long walks directly from the property. We loved it so much that we’re coming back in Feb! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Perfect venue for our family gathering for 80th birthday! Various cottages to suit different needs. Our Cottage was ideal for someone needing ground floor accommodation and spacious bathroom. Main Farmhouse was great for the whole family to get together, warm and comfortable with everything needed for larger groups! Made good use of hot tub and pool. Absolutely amazing views everywhere you looked and the recommended walk was perfect! Beautiful venue, beautiful sights and highly recommend!
We enjoyed our break at Wild Cherry cottage. Comfortable and clean. Daniellle was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to help with a large group.
