The property was spacious and the views were excellent. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a pleasant stay and the location's views were the main highlight.
We stayed here with my Arab stallion as we were participating in the ManVHorse. It was such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for both us humans and for Sandy (horse), we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others, as well as stay there again if we are in the area again.
Our stay was fantastic. We visited as a group from Clipex Fencing and Stockyards for the Royal Welsh Show and stayed in the Vale Rowen, which was comfortable, well equipped, and set in the beautiful surroundings. It was such a relaxing base, our only regret was not having more time to properly soak up the peace and tranquility of the setting. The location was perfect for the show, and our cottage had a hot tub, which was lovely to unwind in after a long day. This is the third time we have stayed at Vale cottages. This time we were in a smaller cottage but it had everything we needed. Danielle is so helpful and even supplied additional bedding for the sofa after our children decided they couldn’t share a bed! Great location. We were with a party of 14 and the space was great.
This was our third visit to Vale Farm Cottages and it did not disappoint. Vale Farm is within easy driving distance of Brecon for shopping (and ice cream) and also for visitors to the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show in Builth Wells. Accommodation was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed within the cottage. Tom and Danielle were welcoming and friendly a usual. This time we stayed in Vale Oak. It was nice to have the outside space but an outside table and chairs would be nice for eating outside. We have already booked for next year. Highly recommend.

The lady who runs the property was friendly and welcoming, and the views were lovely. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our stay overall. On arrival, we were told the toilet flush was missing and hadn’t been fixed, so we had to manually push down two prongs inside the toilet with our fingers to flush it. The shower also kept cutting out and would then come back on boiling hot. The rooms looked quite tired and the sofas were stained.
