We loved our stay at the cottage. The views were wonderful. The cottage was cosy and felt relaxing from the moment we walked in. Our only issue was the road to the cottage. We didn’t mind opening and shutting the gates but the farm track was in a pretty bad state and we felt it was unsuitable for a small car. We really appreciated all the small extra touches, the fresh flowers and wine, the Arran soaps, fluffy towels and bath robes and crisp white bedding. Overall it was a lovely stay which went far too fast and we would like to sincerely thank Alison and Malcolm for making it feel so special...more
Although the weather was very stormy...we loved it !!. Watching the weather roll in was something else. We found Aird House to be very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen had everything we needed and even the view from there was stunning. The beds are very comfortable with good quality bed linen. We came away feeling that we got exactly what we needed...a week out of time to switch off completely. We chatted with Alison, the owner who was very pleasant and helpful.
