This property was ideal for a week's stay with our border collie. We've stayed in various properties throughout the Cotswolds for many years, and this one was definitely the best, with comfortable furniture and modern kitchen appliances. The large area of grass round the property, and the easy access to a local footpath, meant exercising the dog and ourselves was very straighforward. Being able to park the car right outside the door made loading and unloading easy.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Tractor Shed, nestled in the picturesque Cotswold countryside. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by its undeniable charm.

The property itself is immaculate, with thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed lazy mornings sipping coffee on the decked area, soaking up the sun and taking in the breathtaking views.

Myself, my husband and our dog stayed in Ash barn (the Tractor Shed) everything was beautifully thought of and we loved walking around the grounds, spotting all the wild life from barn owls to baby frogs. Also enjoying a little game of tennis & sitting out until late on the patio which was so tranquil and private.
Everything was immaculate inside & outside of the barn. Great Tew is the prettiest quaint little village we absolutely loved the pub and artisan coffee shop. We would love to return!

Just a heads up which we could have done with knowing before booking is that the farmhouse is really close to a shooting school so if you stay with your dog who is nervous/reactive to bangs like ours is this may not be ideal. We managed it by being out of the barn most days and making sure the tv was turned up enough to drown out the gun noise. It was just a shame as we couldn’t walk our dog outside the barn at all until after 5pm as he was terrified. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful location!

We are sorry to hear that you dog is reactive to some noises, just over a mile down the road is the Great Tew estate and it appears that they host a couple of shoots at various times of the year. Really pleased with the accommodation at ‘Luxury in the Cotswolds’. The attention to detail was great - the little things make all the difference! Would highly recommend and would love to revisit.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Cowshed. Great lay out, excellent facilities, comfortable bed with high quality linen, very clean throughout, lovely peaceful location with dog walks on your door step, we didn't get to use the tennis courts as it rained for our stay but they were well kept courts and racquets provided. And the pod points for electric vehicles was a great touch and not something we'd come across previously. We would love to return - we did put in a call about returning but no-one ever called us back!

This was a lovely property, well kitted out and in a good location. It was dog friendly which is important for us and there were nice touches including treats for the dog. Our only criticism is that on an extremely hot weekend only one window opened (barely) and it was so uncomfortable at night we went home early. I realise that we don’t often get weather like this but windows should open for ventilation with a grid across as with the space above the back door. Otherwise a very nice stay.

Had a lovely stay at Ash Barn, we found the property by chance and after staying there had no regrets whatsoever with our booking. It’s a real high end lovely place to stay with ample grounds for your dog to play. Loved the extra touches of the cake and doggy bits that were found on entering. We will definitely be going back.
