The most beautiful cottage immaculate and tasteful in every way. I imagined living there permanently it was so perfect. Walks from the cottage into the countryside in all directions.
Westonbirt 7mins drive away, Tetbury, Malmesbury all close.
Highly recommend.

Recently updated and well equipped cottage in a lovely village with amenities which mean you don't have to drive for food etc. Great walks from the door. Helpful owner and manager. Parking easy on high street about 50m away. Lovely views from bedroom and garden. Comfortable beds. Dishwasher and washing machine helpful but a bigger clothes airer or a washing line would be useful for longer stays. House was a little dusty in places but very clean otherwise. Lounge furniture a little small for comfort, especially with 3 people, but big TV in bedroom. Low ceilings in doorways a bit tricky for anyone over 5'6" but perfectly manageable once used to it! Overall we had a lovely relaxing week and really loved the village and the area.

We have visited many parts of the Cotswolds over the years and this has got to be our best-ever stay. Firstly, Lily Bee cottage provided wonderful accommodation for myself, my wife and our golden retriever, Rafa. The cottage is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with everything from bed linen to crockery of excellent quality. The combination of period character and modern refurbishment is reminiscent of the best of 'Escape to the Country'! The garden is lovely, with the raised seating area at the end having great views out to the countryside. The location is also fab, just off the high street, which has free parking and EV chargers. Sherston has a lovely pub plus an excellent Coop shop, which has just about everything you could require. There is also a quirky wine shop plus a hairdresser and a lovely cafe, with the village being a little bit more of a 'real' place than some of the more famous Cotswold locations, but none the less attractive for it. Our holiday was a walking one and there are brilliant walks in all directions, with 5 other pubs within reasonable walking distance. We definitely hope to return.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s a quiet little town with a good pub and cafe.
We did get a bit warm in the upstairs bedroom, so a fan might help.

We stayed at Lilly Bee Cottage for four nights and our only regret was that we couldn't have stayed longer. The cottage is beautiful, the photos don't do it justice. It is so tastefully decorated with lovely little touches everywhere and the garden (unfortunately we couldn't use it much because of the weather) has two lovely seating areas with relaxing views over the countryside. The village of Sherston is very quaint with a Co-Op, Post Office, The Rattlebone Inn, which serves very good food and a great coffee shop The Angel just a short walk from the cottage. Parking can be a bit tricky but we always managed to get a spot on the main street close to the cottage. We couldn't recommend the Lilly Bee enough, it was so cosy that most nights we ate at home because we looked forward to coming back to the cottage in the evening. We hope to return to Lilly Bee again.

Spending ten days in Lilly Bee Cottage, we had the chance to really live in the place. We found what we expected according the description and felt comfortable in kitchen and garden. Bedrooms were large and bright. We really relaxed by cruising through the Cotswolds and hiking near Sherston. Neighborhood is quiet and inviting, Sherston offers more than other villages of this size (inn, cafés, super market).

Lily Bee Cottage is a very pleasant small cottage with character very close to the main street in Sherston. We loved the decor, lovely pieces of art and some quirky ornaments, someone with a good eye has decorated and added lovely stylish touches. Overall we found the facilities to be very good, the beds are comfy and the shower is great, if more than one showering at night or running a bath you will need to 'boost' the hot water, this is easily done and instructions are provided. We couldn't get the NEFF hob to work unfortunately and there were no instructions provided, I think it would be helpful to provide instruction manuals for appliances. The oven worked with no problems, as did the microwave and coffee machine. We did not need to use any other appliances as we only stayed for a week. The garden is a little sun trap with great views. It was quiet in the village during the night and parking was easily found every day in the High Street. We enjoyed the food in The Rattlebone Inn and the The Old Royal Ship in Luckington. Very handy to have a well stocked Co-op shop in the village. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at Lilly Bee Cottage, the owners have lovingly restored this 17th century cottage with such charm & attention to detail. From the moment we walked in we started to unwind, we had the most wonderful, relaxing stay was all over far too quickly for our liking!
My only criticism is the owners have been let down by the cleaning team. The place needed a good dust - the coffee tables, bedside tables and kitchen table had clearly not been hadn't been touched since the previous guests and there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The bedsheets and towels however were clean and fresh.

Beautiful cottage which immediately felt like home.
A Christmas tree was there to greet us and a pint of welcome milk!

We had a really lovely stay - the cottage is beautifully presented and in a lovely village. It provided a great base for a visit to the Cotswolds.
Our only slight disappointment was that we had an issue with the lock on the front door which resulted in us having to climb out of one of the windows. These things happen- but we were surprised when the property manager said the issue started with the previous guests. It was a miss not to communicate the issue with us.

We so enjoyed our stay at Lily Bee Cottage. It was beautifully furnished with style. We loved everything about it. The kitchen facilities had a plentiful supply of crockery and appliances, a real home from home. My friend enjoyed a soak in the deep freestanding bath and the shower was great. Our beds were very comfortable with wonderful bed linen. The cottage is in a wonderful village, friendly with good facilities. We went to the Angel Cafe ( delicious) The Rattlebone Inn ( amazing Sunday lunch) and great walks. We visited Tetbury and experienced a lovely town, easy parking, dog friendly welcoming shops and amazing cafes and hotel food. Malmesbury was great too. We would highly recommend Stay Cotswold too, with easy and efficient booking process.

We really loved staying in Lily Bee Cottage, it is very comfortable, all of the fittings are of a very high standard and it’s very well equipped. A real home from home. The parking arrangements are absolutely fine, there’s always space. Sherston is a great little community, it is very convenient having a shop and several eateries within easy walking distance. And the residents are very friendly. We visited Tetbury, Cirencester and westonbirt, they are all within easy reach. Any questions regarding the cottage were dealt with quickly and efficiently and in a friendly manner. Wow would definitely stay again.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, it has everything you need. Lovely bed linen and comfortable bed, we had a wonderful break, the only issue was the cleanliness, lots of cobwebs and spiders in most corners and we found wood lice along the skirting boards. Given we couldn’t access the cottage until 5pm that’s long enough to thoroughly clean the place.

We managed to book the beautiful Lily Bee cottage last minute, and very grateful it was available! It was situated in the best location, between villages and towns which were under 30 minutes away. The village itself has much to offer between cafes, pubs and a CO-OP for essentials! The cottage has been decorated to a very high standard, it’s absolutely gorgeous! The garden is wonderful, we enjoyed soaking up the summer weather whilst the doggos enjoyed running around the enclosed garden (added bonus for us doggo lovers). Thank you for our stay!

We stayed in Lily Bee Cottage for a week with our small dog. The cottage has been very tastefully decorated and presented giving a lovely homely feel. Highly recommend a stay in this cottage and Sherston is a nice village with a great pub and cafe.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lilly Bee Cottage which had everything we needed. It was in a good location and parking on the High Street was okay. If I was being really picky the only thing missing would be some cushions for the outdoor seating as we did sit out a lot as it was lovely weather. But the lack of these didn't detract from enjoying everything else. Definitely would like to return in the future.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Lily Bee Cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful, it has all the amenities needed, and you can tell that the owners have put a lot of time and money in making it feel like a home away from home. We were sad to leave! The town is lovely, and we appreciated the “Sherston walking trails” book that was in the cottage - we did a walk a day from it. We would definitely return and stay again!

Delightful cottage, kitchen very well stocked with beautiful crockery and good hob/oven. Fridge wasn’t cold enough and the door needed a shove to close properly.

Lounge I believe needed a larger TV and also a single chair for lounging, the existing one is rather small. Garden is charming and beds comfortable with quality bed linen.

Bathroom is new and beautiful though there was a leak from the shower that affected the shower electrics which gave me a shock whilst showering, I did report this.

Radiators were a bit tricky to activate, in fact not sure main bedroom one worked, we used the excellent log fire which was very effective.

All in all a couple of issues but a good stay and central to the Cotswolds.

Lovely short break at Lilly Bee cottage. Really cosy, comfortable and well furnished. Such a bonus finding a cottage with a downstairs toilet as my brother has limited mobility. Also a lovely, good sized garden for our dog. Beds were very comfortable too.
I would highly recommend Lilly Bee cottage and hope to book again later in the year.

We had a lovely few days here. The village has everything you need, including a friendly pub with nice food. There are lots of walks from the village too. The decor of the cottage is beautiful and very relaxing. We were visiting family in Somerset and Bath as well as a short holiday and found the location perfect. Definitely one of the best cottages we have stayed in and we travel a lot in the UK.

We loved our stay at the cottage.
Excellent furnishings and very comfortable.
Only downside was the heating, we were not able to alter the settings and it was cold. The living room was very cold and we had to buy some logs from the local shop for the woodburner to keep warm.
We would love to return in the summer.

Very tastefully presented and loved the style. Beds very comfortable. I only gave a 4 for comfort as we did find the cottage extremely cold on arrival on the Friday and was 24hrs before we adjusted/warmed up. It may be the cottage had been empty for a few days before. I am originally from the Highlands and quite hardened to the cold. Otherwise absolutely recommend .
