Little bird is perfect for a short stay and we’ve just returned from a weekend break. The cottage is incredibly comfortable and cosy with good quality furnishings and a very comfortable bed.
The kitchen is equipped for a short stay though could benefit from s couple of items if you are catering for yourselves. That said there’s plenty of cafes and pubs/restaurants in the area offering a great selection.
We had several walks from the doorstep with our dog - Bibury is so pretty and whilst very busy we managed to find routes across the countryside to enjoy the peace and beautiful surroundings.
The roadworks in Bibury are an issue currently - at least a 15 minute diversion to get to the top end of Bibury though this didn’t detract from an overall pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Little Bird Cottage. After asking on the day about the possibility of checking in early, we were told the properly would be ready for 1pm. This was very appreciated. I do think the standard check-in time of 5pm is too late, especially as it would have been dark at this time in late October. I think 3pm, or 4pm at the very latest would be far more suitable. The cottage was positioned in a beautiful spot, away from the main road and therefore absolutely silent apart from the occasional noise of one of the neighbouring properties car passing to their parking space. It was a lovely short walk to Arlington Row and the ‘centre’ of Bibury. We had a very nice evening drink on the heated terrace at Eleven cafe. The property was very clean and well stocked with everything we could have wanted or needed during our stay. The living room was cosy with the electric flame effect fire and it was nice to find dog and human blankets in the cupboard. It would have been nice to have had a dog water/ food bowl and perhaps some treats, especially as there is a dog charge of £40. Not essential but would have been a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and a good size, although the pillows were far too soft for our liking, but no other pillows are ever quite right are they! The kitchen was very good with an easy to use oven and the dishwasher was helpful. The milk in the fridge on arrival was a nice touch and appreciated until our food delivery arrived. We missed having any private outdoor space for our dog, meaning we had to take her out on a lead to go to the toilet. However the positives of the property definitely outweighed this. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again on a future trip to the Cotswolds.

We had a wonderful stay at Little Bird Cottage in Bibury. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the Cotswolds, and the cottage itself is ideal for two people and a dog. The cottage was clean, cosy, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We were really pleased with everything. The cottage is a perfect little getaway spot.

Absolutely loved our stay at Little Bird Cottage. The cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and newly furnished including a well fitted, well appointed kitchen and bathroom (yes, there is a corkscrew!). Also, very quiet. The only 'downside' was the lack of any outside space, but then you have Bibury right outside anyway. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village, a very pleasant stroll along the river to the Swan Hotel, Arlington Row, and other places of interest. Point to note is that the driveway involves a narrow right angle turn, which we suggest would make it difficult for larger vehicles to negotiate (longer vans, pickups, etc).

We loved the modern look inside and the lovely surroundings. Very central to see Bibury and the place has a well equipped kitchen which helped as we had to eat in a few times.

The cottage was in a lovely quiet location which was beautifully decorated and furnished throughout to a high standard.
There were basic food items on arrival (tea,coffee, milk etc) as well as a delicious chocolate cake !
The cottage was clean although there were large cobwebs on the skirting board below the radiator in the lounge and it was very dusty under the settee. Dead flies also noted to lounge and kitchen windows.
Pampas grass at the entrance to the gravel drive was quite overgrown and partially obstructed your view whilst reversing/ driving in to the accommodation.

Little Bird cottage was exactly as pictured. We stayed for 5 days; my husband, daughter, and I all loved the location and the decor. Really easy access to walk to everything in town and bridle paths. It was clean and quiet and I’d love to come back.

The cottage was great and had everything you need great location and the organisation of our booking and communication was excellent and everything went like clockwork. We would definitely recommend this to all our friends and family as a great place to stay
