Post Office Cottage is a delightful holiday home with original features and spacious living areas. Located in Shipton-under-Wychwood, this fabulous property is perfect for get togethers with loved ones.

We had a great week at Post Office Cottage. We chose the location as it’s very near family, but the village is lovely with a pub a few minutes away and the lovely Cotswolds Lounge for breakfast, lunch and coffee a five minute walk away. We also had pizza from Fire and Wine in Milton which was lovely.
The cottage was cosy and nicely furnished. I did raise some concerns about cleanliness with the property manager and he couldn’t have been more helpful. He also helped when one of the radiators wasn’t working and he came over with a heater and also lit a log fire which was much appreciated.
There are some things that could do with a bit of a refresh, and a bit more furniture for storing clothes would be great.
Also note the shower is very low due to the sloped ceilings!
We had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

We had a great stay, the accommodation was lovely and the updates from those managing it was great.

On the day of check-in we received a message to say we could check in early (before midday), however on the website it says 5 o'clock check-in (which is quite late). We were also allowed a later check-out which was a bonus.

The only downside is we had not made any plans to arrive earlier than 5, so the only improvement would be to give a little more notice on check-in and check-out times so we could make the most of it. Otherwise it was what we needed

It is the decision of the property manager to allow an early check in and late departure, this is dependent on their timescale and if the property is ready for guest arrival. This is not a decision that can be made by StayCotswold. We hope you will return to the Cotswolds soon.
