We really enjoyed our stay . The barn was spotless, comfortable and peaceful . All rooms are spacious.
Well located to drive to attractions around the Cotswolds.
My only negative is, I would have liked the garden to be a little more enclosed for my dog. The plant pot barrier instead of the fence ment she could get out which wasn’t ideal.

Ridge Barn was very comfortable, plenty warm enough and spacious for 8 people.
A group of us meet every year for a walking weekend. Ridge barn was lovely but walks were slightly disappointing due to very poor signs, even for the long distance paths.
Only criticism of barn was not enough glassware, eh, only 6 champagne flutes when place sleeps 8. First World problem of course !

We had a wonderful 4 night break at Ridge Barn. Some of our party arrived ahead of us and were warmly welcomed by the owners who kindly provided 2 pints of milk and some delicious ground coffee and biscuits.
The house is very comfortable, light and airy with plenty of space. It is also in immaculate condition. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with a lot of attention to detail. There is also a lovely garden area at the front with a barbecue and a fire pit. As it was Autumn we did not make use of this but can imagine it would be delightful to sit out there in late Spring or Summer.

Everything about Ridge Barn was better than anticipated, it was bigger (we were a party of 8 and there was ample space), the condition was excellent, the location; including the unspoiled views, the open frontage for playing with the kids, and the surrounding countryside are perfect. The owners, who love next door are a delight, so welcoming and accommodating. Genuinely exceptional holiday home, would recommend and return in a heartbeat.

The Barn is so much bigger inside than it looks from the front. Really spacious, tastefully decorated, very well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen area is enormous with a huge store cupboard, fridge freezer and electric range oven.

We stayed on a very hot weekend so it was quite warm inside, we kept on thinking the underfloor heating was on, however as its high up in a rather windy spot, opening the french windows solved that.

The large utility room with outside access is a really useful space for storage and for dog paraphernalia. We made great use of the grassy space on the drive for children´s games.

The only negatives would be that in hot weather the duvets are too heavy and the bedroom curtains don´t cut out all the light.
Of course non of this is a problem most of the year.

The barn is equipped with modern amenities and is located in a charming and tranquil area. It is a family friendly single-floor home. Beautiful outdoor dining /seating area overlooking the fields. Young kids will love watching the sheep in the fields next to the home. The owners are also lovely and helpful when assistance is needed. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a Cotswold stay and we would also return again.

A very spacious and well thought-out property. The view is unimpeded and beautiful. The bedrooms are large. The living spaces are very well positioned, and can be either open space or closed in with sliding doors. The lounge area is super spacious, double height ceiling, with the largest sofa I have ever seen. It looks out towards to front of the property with its beautiful view over the countryside. The kitchen is large and well planned. We were all amazed and jealous of the corner pantry style cupboard. I would very happily recommend this property and return for another stay. Just lovely.

We are a family group of six, several over 60. We opted for a week in the Cotswolds in late May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ridge Barn.
The place was exceptionally spacious, more than you'd expect from the pictures online. The kitchen was well equipped and provided lots of storage space for the meals etc that we'd brought with us for the week. There are 3 bathrooms, plus an additional toilet near the entrance way, plus a utility room for our muddy boots with it's own entrance.
The space allowed us to really enjoy the location, whether that was having breakfast and dinner on the patio and taking in the peace and views, or playing cards at the dining table and having the music on in the background courtesy of the Bose speaker. The bedrooms were each large and comfortable, as were the beds.
The extra touch of a locally roasted bag of ground coffee, beautiful biscuits and a 2-pint bottle of milk provided as a small welcome hamper made the stay that little more special. I'd highly recommend staying here as the location is a short drive away from many stunning locations in the area and it also offers tranquility away from the business of a town or city.

Beautiful barn in a great location. The barn fulfilled all the needs of our family. Being on one level, the comfort and facilities, and a great view across the farm and country…. We all loved seeing the baby lambs in the field opposite the barn.

We had a great family holiday here. Perfect for 6 adults, 1 child and a medium sized dog. Beautiful area and property, loved the drive up to Ridge Barn and all the scenery around. You definitely need a car to stay here though. A short drive to nearest town, not in walking distance. For us this was a positive as we had the peace and quiet and a short drive to many different areas. We hired a hot tub to be installed also, which was a bonus.
The only negative would be that the patio doors were stuck and wouldn’t open, which didn’t bother us as too cold to have them kept open, would be nice on a hot day though. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely well appointed and spacious cottage in a quiet rural location good for exploring nearby Stratford upon Avon, Warwick castle etc. Hosts were very responsive, lots of nice local pubs, would recommend.

We were a family group of 13, so we stayed in the Ridge Barn and the Furrow Barn.
Both hours were lovely - very cosy but with plenty of space. The beds were super comfy, and the kitchens were very well equipped. We cooked a huge roast with no problem!
The bedrooms were evenly sized, which is a big plus, as often in holiday houses there is a poky bedroom. Bathrooms were fresh and the showers were good. As we were a 3 generation party, with an older family member, the fact that everything was on one floor was very helpful.
The location is lovely - plenty of outside space, and nice walks locally. It was within easy reach of Chipping Norton and other interesting places, but still quiet and peaceful. We loved the beautiful views around the big barn.
As a family we've stayed in many houses over the years, and Ridge and Furrow are definitely high on the list. Were trying to sort out dates to come back again.

Ridge Barn was a knockout from the moment we turned the key!
The interior of the barn was stylish and homely, every piece of furniture was chosen to compliment the building and the spacious layout was a joy.
The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking anything from a boiled egg to a Sunday roast!! Loved the large American style fridge freezer.
Each of the 4 bedrooms were beautifully decorated and furnished and having 2 with en suite bathrooms was a real plus.
Thanks for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

We booked Ridge barn for a family holiday, totaling 8 people. This place was fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice. There is significant space, great sized rooms, comfy beds and is equipped with everything to ensure you can holiday 'in' or 'out'. The location for us was perfect. You feel in the middle of no where, but a 10 min drive gets you to a small village shop which is well stocked. Driving is essential for this place.
The owners were lovely, greeting us with fresh coffee and shortbread upon arrival, and dropping by a basket of apples from their orchid mid holiday.
I would typically never visit the same place twice, but I would with Ridge Barn. Loved it!!!

We had the most amazing stay at Ridge Barn - we stayed here to get ready for my wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. Clean, spacious, extremely well equipped, comfortable with the most beautiful views over the Oxfordshire countryside. The owners were extremely welcoming and looked after us well, and we honestly couldn't have had a better stay.

I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking, you won't regret it!

Ridge Barn is situated very much in a rural setting with only a few other properties, surrounded by farmland.

This property is spacious and comfortable, there were eight of us , plus a dog, and we had plenty of room for different activities . Facilities were good and the kitchen adequately furnished with plenty of crockery etc. Also there was a selection of board games.

Because of the weather we did not investigate any local walks which was a pity, however we enjoyed visiting Moreton in Marsh, Broadway and Chipping Camden and spent time walking there.

Ridge Barn was everything that was described. A huge amount of space for our family gathering. For us the location on the edge of the Cotswolds was ideal; we enjoyed the walks directly from the property during our weekend stay. A lovely property, which has been refurbished to a high standard. We have just returned from a Monday to Friday stay at Ridge barn.
We had the most fantastic time there, the barn is beautiful and has been converted to an extremely high standard. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space for us all to relax and spend time together.
The owners kindly left us some milk and biscuits on our arrival, which was a lovely touch as there was also tea and coffee there for us to use straight away.
We have stayed in the area before and love exploring the beautiful surroundings and villages. The barn is set on a very peaceful farm and my 2 little girls loved playing and running around on the grassed area in front of the barn. Hopefully we can return to stay in the future!
