The Artist's House is a bespoke holiday home in Swerford, close to Great Tew and Chipping Norton. With a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area, a cosy snug with a log burner and a wonderful outdoor area, it's the perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying time with loved ones.

An enjoyable stay in a beautifully furnished and comfortable house. Everything we needed was provided including a cot and highchair for our 10 month old grandson. The owners were very helpful and on hand when there was a slight issue with one of the showers. It was fixed almost immediately. The cottage gardens are lovely and we were able to enjoy a BBQ with plenty of seating outside. The location is good and noise from the road was minimal. We walked to the excellent Boxing Hare pub across fields of wild flowers. The beds were very comfortable and the only very slight negative is that the bedroom downstairs is actually partitioned from the living room so that it is not totally private in terms of sound. This wasn't an issue for us but is worth bearing in mind.

Great place to stay we were 3 couples meeting up. Lovely sofa and dining space and we made good use of the kitchen as we all like to cook.
Fabulous comfy beds.
The owner explained everything needed when we arrived. Including for Elsie the dog who was well catered for with a field and walks on the doorstep.

We had a wonderful time at The Artist’s House - perfect for a group get together in the Cotswolds. It was lovely to be a little away from the busier towns but still surrounded by beautiful landscapes and only a short drive to villages with cafes, pubs and shops. Pam and John were incredibly welcoming on arrival and the house was the perfect size for eight people, with all the amenities we’d need. We enjoyed time in the garden and cooking at the house. Hope to be back one day soon!

Beautiful about 20 minutes drive from Stow on the Wold. Ideally located to visit the Cotswolds area.
property was perfect layout for 5 adults, 2 teenagers and a baby. kitchen great for breakfast time even if you wish to cook a full English. also had a really lovely meal at the property round the large family table. Everything you needed available in a home from home property.
property is just off the main road but you didn't feel you were that close to it.
