The Hideaway is a lovely shepherd's hut with homely interiors and a quaint garden. Located in Filkins, this cosy hut is perfect for a romantic weekend away.

Location for local attractions great.

Beautiful hut, well equipped in the kitchen for a weekend stay. Towels and dressing gowns provided for the hot tub.
Hot tub was a very nice addition however only minimal wood provided, certainly not enough to run a hot tub and wood fire for even one evening. To get the hot tub warm enough for three nights we used 4 bags of logs (purchased ourselves) so be prepared. Luckily we had good weather so didn’t need to use the log burner.

Hut is located in the owners back garden. Fenced off in its own area with trees and a garden but you are facing their property and overlooked by windows in two directions, not so private if you’re in the hot tub.

We do prewarn guests in the description that the property has only a starter supply of wood provided for the wood burning stove and hot tub. We hope you will be back to stay again soon!
