The Old House is a wonderful, spacious holiday home, full of colour and charm, with a quaint courtyard garden. Located in the heart of Tetbury, it is a wonderful property to enjoy a get together with friends and family.

The Old House is the perfect place to stay in Tetbury - it really is in the centre of everything and provides you with lovely views of the churchyard. The accommmodation is nicely decorated, spacious and spread over three floors with a courtyard garden. The host was readily at hand to assist with any queries. We had a lovely birthday weekend and would return without hesitation.

My friends and I (a group of five school friends in our forties) spent a wonderful two nights at The Old House in Tetbury. The house is well-appointed, right in the centre of Tetbury by the church. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed and the living room was very comfortable and warm with plenty of seating available. Bedrooms were also very comfortable with high quality linen and pillows.
We had a few very minor issues: the starter pack of logs for the fire wasn't provided and we couldn't find anywhere to buy some so weren't able to make use of the log burner. The single room with a pull-out day bed we had asked to be made up as a double but it had been made up as a single. I messaged the contact number about these issues and Richard called me straight away, was very apologetic.
Another issue was the two showers on the top floor. The water pressure in both showers was so bad that they are unusable, there was only a dribble of water coming out and it would be impossible to rinse out shampoo. Also, toilet rolls hadn't been refreshed before our stay (there was only half a toilet roll in each bathroom, presumably leftover from the previous guests) so we had to buy more. We also had to buy batteries for the TV remote.
As a previous guest has also mentioned, a blind on the front door would be welcomed as people do walk past the cottage and can see straight in.

However, despite these little niggles we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again if the showers were sorted.

We are pleased to know that the kitchen is well equipped, the living room is very comfortable and warm and the bedrooms have high quality linen and pillows. We are pleased to hear that your property manager, Richard was able to assist you and change your bed configuration upon arrival. Richard has now contacted a plumber to fix the water pressure with the showers on the top floor. He has informed us that there is a starter pack of 2 logs and kindling provided for your arrival. We hope you will return to the Cotswolds soon.

We had a lovely stay, the Old House was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The re-plastering really didn't get in the way of our experience, but there was a bit more than we had led to be believed. The only thing was that the cleaner arrived 15 mins before we were due to leave, which got in the way a bit. It would have been better if she had acknowledged this, and even better if she had arrived after 10am. Otherwise we had a lovely weekend and would be happy to return.

Cottage well presented and good size rooms with everything you need apart from a tea towel! Next to church but unaware the bells rang every hour during the day and through the night. Car parking limited at times and long stay car park not 24hrs. A blind for the front door would have been nice to give extra privacy if required. Next door was being renovated and understand that noise will occur but the work did go on throughout Sunday which made us leave earlier than planned for that day. Top hand rail had come away from the wall and although bottom part was secure was concerned that it would come off as you do need to grab onto it to help get up the stairs especially my mother who is 83yrs old. Good location for the shops and pubs and plenty to see and do in Tetbury and surrounding area.

We were six ladies attending WOMAD festival ten minutes down the road. The accommodation was lovely, clean, cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. Tetbury is literally on the doorstep with delightful shops and restaurants. ‘The Old House’ ticked every box for us, highly recommended.

Had a great stay in this house. Clean, comfortable and well presented. The location is in the middle of Tetbury which is beautiful and very convenient for restaurants and cafes.

Slightly annoying to get in as the owners had changed the code to the keys and forgotten to tell us, but that was quickly resolved.

On arrival the house was clean and tidy. The property is in an excellent location and just a few minutes walk to all the town of Tetbury has to offer. Nice touch was bottle of wine on arrival and tea, coffee and milk.
The house has everything you need with a well stocked kitchen should you wish to cook.
We had an issue with one of the showers located on first floor but on contacting the owner she was very helpful and arranged for this to be rectified within a couple of days.
Overall a beautiful house which I would have no hesitation in returning to, and Tetbury has a lovely array of shops, coffee shops and pubs/restaurants to choose from.

All six of us (and our dog!) had a fantastic Christmas in this cosy cottage. We arrived to a clean, well-equipped place that had everything we needed. The location was excellent and we enjoyed a quiet night’s sleep every night. The perfect cottage to spend Christmas in. Thank you!!!

I prefer to deal direct by telephone rather than online, the ladies at Stay Cotswold were very pleasant and informative making the booking procedure simple.
Staying in this lovely house made our first holiday to the Cotswolds a very pleasant memory.

Well situated , Tetbury lovely market town.
Decorated and furnishings to high standard.
Beds very comfy. All amenities within walking distance.
If I was to look at any negatives it would be although dog friendly very small court yard not ideal due to outside rug.
Parking was a bit of an issue, but thankfully once we found a spot we didn’t have to move our car for the duration of stay.
