We stayed here as a half way point and extension to our holiday to Cornwall, we are a family of 3 with a 16 year old and a 10 month old cocker spaniel. We loved the accommodation, a nice little drive into different villages. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see The Farmers Dog or Stow On the Wold as it was really busy. When we arrived, the accommodation was extremely hot (air conditioning would be good!) but we were provided 2 brand new fans and they helped a lot! Beautiful views and very friendly local people too! We loved it and I highly recommend it.

Positives - Lovely accommodation, everything was clean. Nicely furnished. Located just a short drive from Burford, which was very convenient.

Negatives - We had a problem with the very low temperature of the jacuzzi, which meant we couldn't use it the first day. It made me doubt whether anyone had attended to the jacuzzi before our arrival. It stated in the write up that the jacuzzi was set constantly at 38 degrees, instead of 23 degrees! Annoying after a longer journey.

No coffee pods, it was stated there would be a starter pack! I did mention this to the Management Company, they said some would be brought round, but none were supplied. I've never stayed anywhere without there being some kind of welcome pack!

Also, would have been nice if the garden was weeded and the grass was cut, as it was very long.

The stable was in the most perfect location to explore the local sites and other villages!
It is a picturesque place, with everything you need. We were able to utilise the hot tub for some lovely relaxation, the outside space for a nice dog walk and the main town was just a 5minute drive away.
The Stables was lovely and clean and plenty of room for the 3 of us and the dog. It had all you needed in the kitchen space and all the utensils you would need. Also, the shower was glorious!!!
I could not fault our stay and would happily come again

Cottage was charming, cosy, comfortable, modern, dog friendly and well fitted out. Location great for access to Cotswolds and quiet.Would recommend and would return.

We had a lovely time staying at The Stables over the New Year period. There was plenty of space for two adults, a baby and dog - a cosy but not cramped space. The place was decorated nicely throughout and we probably benefited from being one of the first to stay there, so everything is fresh. Great quality kitchen!
Saw a previous review about an uncomfortable sofa and we were mindful of this, but in our opinion it was absolutely fine. It may be on the smaller side but if it were bigger then it would be disproportionate to the space, so no complaints there.
David was an excellent host and very promptly resolved an incredibly minor hiccup regarding coffee pods.
Would stay again!

Cute for 2 nights, but uncomfortable small sofa in living room, and no dishwasher. overpriced by about 50% / night compared to other cottages that are larger with 2 or 3 bathrooms and a fireplace. but it was a last min booking.
