The property was excellent well presented and clean the instructions given before our arrival were very helpful. I would think this property would be a great place to stay in the summer outside look great.

A lovely place in a lovely area. Good shop in village and geographically ideal to get to most places.
The heating needed a particular adjustment and the Manager couldn’t have been more helpful or more prompt.
Lots of places to store food and clothing and just up the road from Daylsford!
The upstairs bathroom cabinet had not been cleaned inside and there was a dirty towel on the radiator but the rest of the property was clean. Lots of bare picture hooks with pictures missing and tired paintwork and the bathroom door needs repairing but none of this spoiled the enjoyment of our experience. Loved listening to the Mill race.

Lovely cottage in a great location, village was perfect for us all as a family.
Just one disappointment , property was very dark had 5 ceiling lights out in downstairs bedroom and also over the dining table.

The cottage was very warm and very comfortable. We spent the whole week there by ourselves and then our friends joined us for 24 hours. Plenty of room for two couples. The third bedroom is very small.
Lots of steps and they are a little slippery. The cottage wansnt as clean as I would have expected but not awful. The sink could do with the silicon replacing and the shower door needs doing the same. The brick above the cooker hood was very dusty so had to clean myself. No welcome hamper but there was some milk and some biscuits and wasn’t expecting although would be nice for a cottage for that price.
Beds are very comfortable and the sofa was the most comfortable I have ever sat on! Waiting for the details of where it was bought from stay Cotswold: we would go back (tomorrow), great place to stay with friends.

Beautiful property mixing stone, wood, luxury, antique and modern pieces. High quality comfortable and quiet stay in great location with just the stream cascading alongside it.
Highly recommend it for a family of 6-8 to spend time together.
Would definitely come back again.

The information provided after booking and prior to arrival was excellent and extremely helpful.
The Mill is an excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds, with lots to do and see nearby.
The property is clean and well maintained. An excellent stay and would definitely use it again if we visited the Cotswolds again.

We had a lovely time at the Mill and have fallen in love with the Cotswolds however the cottage needs a few tweaks to make it perfect

On arrival we quickly discovered that we couldn't park close to the entrance to the property. The cark park is only a short distance away but it meant several journeys back and forth to unload the car - we did had a lot of stuff as staying a week with a dog.

Upon arrival there was no welcome pack or any written instructions to use appliances, especially the boiler for hot water or the AGA. We suffered cold showers until we figured out how to turn the hot water on.
We searched for the WiFi code but could not find this either so had to contact the service company for the details.
They dropped off the welcome pack the next morning with a nice bottle of wine as an apology which was accepted.

The cottage was well equipped with virtually new kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine, air-fryer, washer/ dryer, crockery, cutlery and utensils.

We would have benefitted from more mugs/cups as there were only 6 in total and we had 6 people staying. Also some additional size pans and maybe a teapot, table mats and coasters could be considered.

Cleanliness - overall acceptable. All new and clean bedding and towels. Study room was dusty and we found a few cobwebs. The AGA hob/lids needed a proper clean - we left it a lot cleaner than it was when we arrived!

The property itself is part of a converted mill, there's plenty of space for relaxing in the lounge and eating in the dining area. It was however difficult to reach some of the windows to ventilate the ground floor bedroom at night. There was a problem with the main bathroom toilet cistern which we regularly had to reconnect for it to work and a minor leak from the radiator in downstairs shower room. The smoke detector, which was stuck to the ceiling upstairs fell off whilst we were there so we repaired it and put it back up, this probably needs testing and a more secure fixing.

Outside - there was a garden which is on a steep slope and is not secure if you have an active dog. The garden furniture in our opinion needed a proper clean/jet wash or replacement. The wooden bench was not useable either - so we were a little disappointed with the garden area.

On occasion we did use the "communal" garden, which was much nicer, however we were eventually asked not to use it by a local resident. I believe the wording for the accommodation has been updated to reflect this but it was rather embarrassing for us.

Blockley itself is a lovely quiet village and a great central place to explore the Cotswolds from.
