Our third family celebration at Craig Alva Lodge
Three generations enjoying a weekend together at the lodge was perfect. Great customer service from Alan and Pauline.
On arrival the lodge was clean and ready for us to walk in and settle down Everything for self catering was there more than enough for our group of 11 Comfy beds and the en-suite bathrooms are great bonus especially when all coming out of the pool
The pool was fabulous always warm
Games of pool and table tennis were enjoyed in the large lounge as well as the huge outdoor area and BBQ
We had lovely weather so explored the beaches and countryside near by
Everyone asking when we can book to go again

We had a great family stay at Craig Alvah. Every body enjoyed the swimming pool but the kids loved it. The bedrooms were all very comfortable. Absolutely everything had been thought about. The only things you need to take is your food and drink/juice. Plenty dishes, cutlery etc. The weather wasn’t the best for our weekend but we did manage to sit outside and enjoy the garden. The kids loved the trampoline and the play park. We all managed a game of football and got very good use of the pool table and table tennis table. We all enjoyed it so much we have rebooked to go back again next year.

We all really enjoyed our stay at Craig Alvah. The property was immaculate and the location was amazing. The kids loved the pool, games room and large garden. Great place to unwind and recharge, highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay at the lodge, kids loved the swimming pool and spent do many hours in it.
Games room was good too, but we could not find the table tennis bats unfortunately.
The location was rural, but 10 minutes in the car into town.
We honestly could not fault the lodge fully equipped with everything you need, toilet roll, soap, cloths the lot, The grounds were beautiful too.
We had a lovely dinner and the Fife Hotel and also Banff springs, would def recommend both, the Chinese in the town Hapoy Palace I think was called was amazing too, there is a small Tesco also in town.
We will definitely be back, def recommend this lodge!

We had a lovely relaxed weekend the house is amazing. Plenty of space for everyone. Sonas system for our music. Pool was lovely and clean and checked everyday we were in the house. Alan our host was only a text message away if we needed him.

We had a magic time at the lodge we would highly recommend this place.The moment you open the door it was a WoW feeling!Big open spaces and lovely rooms all very bright and fresh.Excellent facilities too especially the swimming pool /pool table / table tennis and beautiful Large Garden with large swing set and Trampoline and a set of Goals,great fun for the kids.Lovely walks and very peaceful too.We all had a ball the week we was there can't wait to go back again.Thank you .

The lodge was a fab stay - definitely made my 30th!
Kitchen was very well equipped with utensils.
Bonus that there were en suites in most bedrooms.
Situated in good, quiet location for walks.
Plenty room outside - ideal for any age group e.g. kids for the slide, bbq etc
Swimming pool was also a big hit for my family.

Having stayed at the Craig Alvah Lodge a few times now over the past years, I feel that there are several areas in which need updating. Some kitchen appliances ie Oven, fridge, freezer but especially the hob. We found it took quite a bit of time to cook meals etc.. It is a lovely house and the swimming pool is amazing and checked everyday by the owner.

Stayed here for 4 nights with all my family for a surprise 70th birthday for my partner Margaret. The location and lodge are simply stunning and very impressive, a true home from home with everything you could possibly need for your comforts. I would highly recommend this lodge and already looking at dates to return in the future

Craig Alvah has been our choice for family weekends for several years. House is spacious and is always spotless as is swimming pool area.
Plenty of space outside for children to play.
