We booked Towy for a long weekend with family. It was just perfect for what we needed. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts, they are wonderful. Lovely cottages, well maintained in the perfect location. So much so, we've booked for May too!

The cottage is comfortable and well-maintained. The 3 grandkids loved the play area, including its sandy floor and mum and the eldest also played pool and table football in the rec room. Plenty of grass for the kids to run around on. Wonderfully peaceful, but with so many beaches and places to visit within reach.

We’ve stayed here four or five times now and we always enjoy our stay. We explore new places each time and go back to our favourites! It’s a perfect base to enjoy this area of wales. Our girls enjoy the play area and we sit outside the cottages after our days out and eat and enjoy the lovely space.

Third time we have stayed (in different cottages) As always a warm welcome from Yvonne, who is easily contacted on site if any problems arise. Lovely cottage (Towy) everything thoughtfully equipped. Beds could be more comfortable, but apart from that everything excellent. Very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Towy Cottage. The cottage itself was in pristine condition throughout
About 15 mins from Cardigan
The games room with pool table, table footie and giant connect4 was great too
Beautiful open grounds overlooking fields
Broadband is sloooooooow c.1.7mb/s which was pretty annoying for everyone - but you are staying in the middle of the country so what do you expect? And it will hall you disconnect :)
Great value for money and overall, the cottage exceeded our expectations - would highly recommend

Have just returned from a lovely week in West Wales. We had a friendly welcome and the cottage was spotlessly clean. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the cottage had everything you would need. I would highly recommend this as a venue for anyone wanting to visit the area. If I had to point out one negative it would be that the mattresses weren’t very comfortable and could do with upgrading.

We had a really lovely week at the cottage. Yvonne is so helpful & friendly, nothing is any trouble. The cottage is great & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only improvements that could be made are king bed in the larger rooms as double is a bit small & the rooms are plenty big enough to take a king bed & better blinds on the balcony door in the bedroom as it’s too bright of a morning.

Absolutely stunning cottage finishing to a top quality standard.
Kids loved the play area aswell as having the grass patch outside the door.
Will be looking to book in the near future. Yvonne went out of her way to ensure we were fully prepared while staying here.

This was our first holiday since lockdown was eased and we had a wonderful time. The cottages are in a quiet, peaceful location and are extremely well furnished and kitted out despite the requirements of Covid-19. We had a 6 month old and a 2 and a half year old and everything necessary was provided for them. We would recommend Penwern Cottages to our friends and family.
