Howgills House was perfect for my retreat. All the guests were blown away by the stunning setting and the comfort, and we had everything we needed and more. The customer service support was second-to-none. I wouldn't hesitate to book another retreat here. Thank you.
I stayed here with a group of friends for a couple of nights due our Dales Way long distance walk. This accommodation really does offer excellent value for money and is ideally located in the charming town of Sedbergh. Customer service is first rate and I would highly recommend Howgills as a base if you are looking to explore this beautiful part of the world.
My friends and I came here for 2 nights for a chilled out stag do. The venue was perfect. Really clean, could host many guests with activities on site. I met the owners of the barn whilst on site and they were so warm and welcoming. Would gladly return in future!
Another very comfortable stay -Thank you! A perfect location for visiting family and exploring the countryside
Had a lovely stay. Apartment was clean, cosy and well equipped for our stay with lovely view over the town and landscape. The apartment was ideally located for access to the lakes and places to visit, and was a welcome place to return to after a busy day sightseeing or walking.
After 3 days walking in the rain and two nights in a bivvy bag it was the height of comfort to have a hot shower and comfortable bed. Excellent facilities
We had a lovely stay at Howgills. the apartment was a great size and great that you could park at the back too. Many thanks Sarah
This was our 4th stay and we'll keep coming back. Why must I have more characters. If yoiu dont make this feedback easier we will down grade the review!!

Plenty of fridge space, cutlery, glasses and crockery however, one cooker over heated badly, not sure how the dishwasher worked and I think you should buy some brand new pans! We couldnt experience the Hot Tub for some reason........ which was disappointing.
We wanted a last minute no frills family room in the middle of nowhere with fantastic walks from the door. We also wanted hot tub access. The rooms were basic but had all you needed. The kitchen was well stocked, spacious and easy to use. The living/dining space was relaxed and again spacious. The hot tub was the highlight due to the views as you soaked. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. For a last minute night away it was a little over priced in my Yorkshire opinion and the hidden dog charge/ hot tub charge wasn't advertised on the website but we thoroughly enjoyed our entire sta...more
