We had an amazing 2 nights in both cottages in Troutsdale Farm. I cannot praise this place highly enough. The cottages themselves are excellent - really good value, very homely, comfortable beds and spacious. Stepping into them feels like home. The location is great and near to lots of great walks and pubs. Barbara, who runs the place, was so friendly and accommodating from first contact. She was extremely helpful with suggestions for our stay. She made a fresh sponge cake and flapjacks for both cottages, both of which were excellent If I could give ten stars, I would!
Lovely location, welcoming helpful hosts and well equipped accommodation make this beautiful cosy barn conversion a superb choice . Everything you could need is there and the environmentally sound , sustainable approach to the whole set up is just so heartening.
