From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The apartment was lovely and clean, all the furniture was well set out and was lovely and cosy of an evening The location was excellent being a very short walk from all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be returning.

This is a lovely little cottage in the heart of East Looe, very clean, well presented and equipped, and great value for money. 30 seconds from the beach and harbour, and the same to local shops. Being a former fisherman's cottage it is cosy and compact, but that's all part of the charm. I would recommend bringing earplugs as the seagulls are noisy early risers!

The SandMartin is a small apartment and perfect for two people to spend a week in. The location is perfect, the beach and harbour are less than a minutes walk and the town centre is about one minute walk where you will find lots of great places to eat and drink. One thing that struck me was how clean the apartment was and came in to find a welcome pack of wine, crisps and ice cream (in the freezer). The bed is very comfortable with wonderful bedding, bathroom very good, and a decent shower which is what you need after a day on the beach. The lounge has is compact but comfortable with a kitchenette with everything you need. There are about 8 steps leading up to the front door which is not a problem but if you struggle with steps then maybe book the olde museum apartment which is below and owned by the same people. The WIFI / Internet was sufficient but if you have kids who want to use a gaming laptop it would probably be too slow but for my alexa device, laptop it was perfect. I used the TV a few times which has all the apps such as prime, netflix (you will need to logon with your own account). Communication from the owners were spot on, even got reminded to logout of any TV apps. In a nutshell this place is a real find, I have stayed in Sand Dune as well which was equally good. Thank you for a wonderful break.

Myself and a friend very much enjoyed staying at the Sand Martin Apartment, Church End, Looe. The weather was not good but the apartment was everything we needed in case the weather got worse as it was a lovely comfortable place to come back to after a long day out in the elements. This was a compact apartment which was ideal for two of us. Despite its size it had a bath as well as a shower, and a soak in the bath was welcome after coast path walking! The kitchen area seemed to have everything we needed and the lounge / dining area was nice too. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in the bedroom for clothes and other items. We knew about the parking arrangements before we booked and there was plenty of room in the Millpool car park.

Everything was perfect. Opening any cupboard made you smile with the cheerful colourful crockery, everything clean and undamaged
Sometimes you stay somewhere where the owner treats their "guests" with respect and this was certainly one, flat has a wonderful atmosphere and was clean and well equipped. Met the lovely caretaker on the way out and she even gave me a hand with my bags, just added an extra touch of kindliness

Within minutes of opening the door, we were unpacked and out enjoying the sights and sounds of picturesque Looe. This is because it felt like home from home. Less than a minute to get to the beach one way or into the town another this really is a great location.

The Sand Martin .accommodation was better than I had expected for the price we paid with some nice touches which I won't ruin for the next visitor. Everything you needed to cook a meal if you wanted to. It was clean, tidy and blended nicely the mix of modern whilst retaining the charm of this old building.

The ultimate test is would we visit again and that, without doubt, is a yes.

We spent a very enjoyable few days at Sand Martin. It’s located in one of the very narrow streets so the view from the window is restricted but that is more than compensated by the location which is just a couple of minutes from the sea front, the RNLI station and lots of other interesting stuff.

Paul (the owner) is extremely accommodating and helpful. The appartement is well equipped and there’s everything you need if you want to self-cater. Parking is a bit of an issue and you need to leave your vehicle in the Mill Pool car park which is a good ten-minute walk away and costs about £6 per night.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We had a lovely 2 week stay in Sand Martin apartment. Even though there are no direct views it’s literally a minute walk to the beach & shops. It is perfect for two people & provides a comfortable stay. The owner keeps in touch & we had a problem with the shower hose & it was resolved in less than 24 hours. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
We will definitely be back in the near future.

Couldn't fault the place at all! I travelled solo and the flat is plenty big enough for two and I was incredibly surprised at just how clean and tidy everything was. Everything you could want from a little get away and they aren't exaggerating when they say the beach is less than a minute away! I've just booked to go again I loved it so much.

Paul the host was very attentive and made our arrival and stay completely stress free providing directions upon arrival and checking all was ok through our stay.
Sand Martin is a quant little apartment, which has everything you could possibly need for your stay. It's ideally positioned just a stones throw from the harbour and beach with cafes restaurants takeaways and shops all within a short walk around the harbour.
It's the perfect base for exploring all the beauty Cornwall has to offer. We will definitely be returning

The property is a very nice place to stay and I will be sure to stay again ,there were only a few disappointing things, the check out time is too early at 9am especially when you have to walk to collect the car.

The bathroom ceiling has black marks in some areas.

The emergency lighting torch was not working and the batteries in the drawer as a replacement were the wrong size.

The location was very good as it was right next to the main harbour yet still in a nice quiet street. The accommodation was clean and cosy and had everything we needed for the time we were there. Lots to do in the surrounding area and we both had a very enjoyable holiday in Looe. The owner got in touch to check everything was ok and we felt like we would go back there again. Perfect break.

We have stayed at the two bed apartment in Looe before but this time booked the one bedroom place. It was excellent and highly recommended.

I love cooking and the kitchen had everything I needed. We plugged our amazon stick into the TV so were able to watch the programmes we wanted using the WiFi.

Will stay again.

This apartment is lovely, clean and cosy for 2 people. It has everything you require for your stay. The location is excellent, close by to pubs, restaurants and shops and extremely close to the beach.

Fantastic location in beautiful Looe. Surrounded by all that Looe can offer - beach, harbour, restaurants, pubs, bakeries and pasties! Sand Martin apartment is very well equipped, beautifully furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean.
