a lovely cottage with plenty of space. Very clean and a helpful and tasty Welcome package . The surrounding area is great, Bolton Abbey, Brimham rocks, Patelye Bridge are not far away. The local pub is also nearby and the public footpath is next to the farm. We will come back.
I had a really enjoyable and pleasant week-long stay at Robbie's Retreat. It was a perfect base from which to explore the Dales, with some local walks and access to the Nidderdale Way. The accommodation was well-presented and well-equipped. There was good communication with the owners, Brian & Sue. The welcome pack of home-baked scones, biscuits and preserves were both delicious and very welcome - had I needed extra there was ability to order more (and also eggs) from the farmhouse. Great farm stay accommodation in the Dales!
