Lovely venue. Had the place to ourselves which was lucky and enhanced the experience. Very quiet (pub wasn't open at time of stay). Welcoming for our dog. Enjoyed our stay.
The glamping pods are equipped with all mod cons - WiFi, TV, microwave, hob, fridge, en suite - even a hairdryer. Spotlessly clean and very peaceful location. Perfect for a relaxing break.
My partner and I enjoyed a 5 night stay. The surrounding area is quiet and the facilities perfect for a couple to self cater simple meals. Very comfortable living area and bed was lovely. The little terrace perfect for coffee as the sun rises and evening drinks. Perfectly situated to explore suffolk and parts of Norfolk depending what you want to see and how far you wish to drive.
A lovely location with relaxed atmosphere. All the facilities were clean and we had room to store food with local amenities not too far away. Space for children to run around. You felt like you were camping but with extra home comforts. The hot tub was lovely once you got it going after a few hours. Would love to come back!.
Wonderful comfortable peaceful and comfortable yurt. Private and beautiful location with lots to see and do. Great break to recharge and relax
Excellent value for money Fantastic host couldn’t have been more helpful Well equipped hut Go back
Was an amazing stay the owners was very welcoming and helpful, the pod was so cosset and warm was such a peaceful weekend. Highly recommended
What an amazing find!! The actual location is just breath taking. So quiet and peaceful! You feel like you’re on top of the world with the views. The pod itself is on another level of brilliant. We have stayed in glamping accommodation before but this is real luxury. The facilities are great and the pod is so warm and cosy. Cannot recommend enough!!
really luxury glamping accommodation with lots of great touches, not least the electric blankets to warm all the beds on a chilly british evening! great home cooked food was lovely to arrive to. fantastic to have electricity, but the most beautiful attraction is the setting ... breathtaking and well maintained.
Our only thing was we couldn't light the pizza oven as alot of the wood provided was too wet. Apart from that we had a lovely time
What a stunning view excellent set up. Very clean and tidy . We went into Scarborough and Bridlington just a sort trip down the road. Probably just a little expensive, but you get what you pay for thanks for a lovely stay
Absolutely delighted with this location. It's new, comfortable, secluded and quiet. Everything you could need is provided. Highly recommended
Absolutely loved our stay at Tall Trees! Everything was perfect and we couldn't fault a single thing! Beautiful location and gorgeous lodges. Every detail was carefully considered from the positioning of each lodge to allow for privacy, down to beautiful bedding on THE most comfortable beds. Loved the wood burning stove for the chilly evenings/mornings and must mention that the bathroom was as good as any top hotel. This was glamping at its best! Jono the host was the perfect mix of attentive whilst allowing us the freedom to enjoy our surroundings. We booked 3 of the lodges with 11 family m...more
We had an amazing experience in the heart of Ribble Valley. We stayed for a couple nights with our 1 year old and the tent had plenty of space to move about in. Definitely pack for cold nights even in the summer as it's close to a river. We woke up to the sound of sheep, birds and cows each morning. Beautiful part of the country, nearest good shop and pub is 15 mins drive. A must is lunch at Inn at Whitewell.
What can I say - what a fantastic experience staying here. We were greeted by Georgia who was very lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. Upon arrival - we received a hamper full of really nice goods, which was a very lovely touch to our stay. The bed - I would say it was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The location is so central and a very quick walk to the local pubs/restaurants as well as the high street, including the quay. I can’t recommend this place enough. Me and my partner wish we booked for an extra night as one night here wasn’t enough! Would 100% stay here...more
Me and my partner enjoyed our time away here! So relaxing with no distractions. Nearest bar and village was just a short drive away. Could’ve maybe done with a little more space for food, couldn’t get much in the mini fridge. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch too with basics we needed! Would definitely be booking this again!
Great get away! Only criticism is we wanted to try out the Spa but seemed a little difficult to organise.
We had a lovely stay at Muntjac- the owner Robin came to greet us on arrival and a bottle of bubbly had been left in the fridge! That was such a kind gesture. The safari tent itself was ideal for the five of us and our small poodle. Very clean and well provided for in terms of glasses, plates cutlery and so forth. The tent was large enough for us not to fill cramped and it was lovely to have the option of both indoor and outdoor dining. We were lucky with the weather as we has glorious sunshine. The area was ideal in terms of getting to the coast and we managed to cram a lot in during our 4 ...more
I booked this trip as a surprise for my partners 50th birthday and it was a perfect weekend. Julie was so accommodating and purchased balloons for me so that the hut could be decorated when we arrived. The hut is so lovely and has everything you need, the hot tub is great and very secluded. To top the weekend off we had perfect weather and my partner proposed to me! Would highly recommend & we hope to return again.
The tent is on a beautiful site, very peaceful, surrounded by woodland for walks. There are 6 tents I think, but all very well spaced out and you couldn't hear each other at all. There is a pond at the bottom of the garden, which is fenced off, but still has a steep drop, so keep an eye on smalls heading down there. The tent itself had a great fire pit, a picnic table (very handy), enough patio furniture for lots of people, and very comfy beds with lovely white bedding, and lots of fluffy blankets. The fire worked very well, the wood is plentiful and free, which makes a nice change, and we man...more
This accommodation is beautiful. I loved the extra touches, all paying homage to the history of the carriage as a genuine old passenger carriage. Chris and Polly have pulled off the trick of making this a thoroughly comfortable place to stay with all the modern conveniences but without compromising on its unique character. Although we had mixed fortunes with the weather, it was still enjoyable to sit at the window of the carriage in the warmth with a glass of wine and just watch the rain. And when the sun shone the paddock where the carriage is set was a great place to sit outside. G...more
We had a two night stay at the accomodation it was just as we imagined. It was a little chilly at night but the hut had an electric heater which helped. There was plenty of room for two and the dog. Outside there was enough space for the dog to run around too. If you want to go to the pub which is located on site it's best to book a table in advance. Thankfully the weather stayed nice all weekend so we were able to get out and explore
Fantastic spot for a relaxing weekend. It is a lovely secluded spot to relax. We spent most most of our time in the deckchairs around the fire pit, but the tents were spacious enough for us to gather in through the showers. Pub staff were friendly and accommodating too.
Well fitted out place to stay with caring owner and easy access to countryside. This is not for the mad party goer, rather for the searchers for convenient and pleasant stay with easy access to walks in countryside and rambles in surrounding small villages.
There were only a few things missing in the cabin, that I thought should be there everything else had been thought of. We thought it was in a quiet area, and lucky with the sunshine. We had booked 3 nights and stayed only the 2 due to being poorly from a local eatery so no fault of the stay we had at First Carriage. Something I really want to mention & is easily resolved - I felt like the bedding was very uncomfortable, the mattress itself was fine but the quality of the bed sheets were very poor which made the cabin much hotter at night, we had the hottest weather that weekend this su...more
