We have just come back from 6 nights in pelican Lodge and it was a gorgeous stay. There's all the comforts and amenities you need . They even leave milk, toilet rolls , washing up liquid etc to get you going which was lovely as its self catering. The BBQ hut is amazing and we ate in there a lot. My family live up there so I'm used to the area but never stayed in Lyth before and it was very central to everything we were going to be doing which was great. The owners are brilliant and always checking we had everything we needed. Would definitely visit again

This was our 4th visit to the lodges. We absolutely love staying here, it's a perfect location for exploring the local area. The lodges themselves are immaculate and nothing is ever too much for the owners. There is nothing negative to say about the lodges, and we are already planning when we can next visit! We love it so much!
A second visit to the lodges and we would love to return for a third!

We had a brilliant visit for the second time. Sharon was more than helpful and welcoming. The accommodation, as before, was clean and comfortable. We had a great BBQ in the BBQ hut and very much enjoyed our tour of the farm with Sharon’s dad, Steven the farms owner.

We spent two nights in June at Caithness Luxury Lodges and cannot fault the accommodation and service provided. We were given clear directions ahead of arrival and Sharon was instantly contactable when we had a query.
Beautiful location - so peaceful, with fabulous views and a good base for exploring the area.
The lodge was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making guests comfortable. Having a separate twin bedroom as well as a double bed in the lounge meant that the 3 of us felt we had plenty living space. The kitchen was compact but had everything we needed, the beds were so comfortable and we had a lovely little lounge area.

We absolutely loved Pelican Lodge set in beautiful peaceful countrysidel location, the lodge was beautiful, very clean and kitted out with everything we needed. The bbq hut was excellant too but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to use it. We would definitely book this property again.

The location of the lodges are idyllic. The scenery is spectacular. Communication with Sharon was easy and her main aim to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Every detail of the lodges is meticulously planned and well thought out. The inside of the lodges is very well appointed. The outside bbq lodge is fantastic. It is perfect for all weather. Just loved our stay!

Best pods I’ve ever stayed in, very modern and clean. Selection of games and well stocked with good amenities. More spacious than you’d think. BBQ hut well equipped with all the utensils you could need. Information booklet provided very helpful. We will be returning and would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area particularly on NC500

What a find. ! We stayed here whilst touring the NC500 in April 2023. Our initial booking was for one night only. (Family of 3) However, we stayed 3 nights in total, as we loved it so much. The highlights of our stay were 1) Visiting the farm and feeding the baby lambs by hand. 2) Our ferry trip across to Orkney where we arranged to meet a guide. She took us in her minibus around the "must see" places on Orkney. We have recommended this place to many other family members and friends.

I had a lovely stay with my family and our dog. The setting of Caithness View Lodges is unbelievable - so peaceful and beautiful outlook. Inside the lodge is cozy and comfortable. And we even saw the Northern Lights one night. The barbecue hut is such a great idea and can be used all year round. Would love to return!
