Beech Cottage is set in a quiet corner of the estate with the most wonderful views across open fields and woodlands, which are filled with bluebells in the spring time and offer tranquillity through the year.

This modern and practical cottage, has been carefully thought out and furnished to a high standard. It has a large living space with wood burner and all the home from home comforts, with the added luxury of a hot tub and covered seating area outside, set in a peaceful garden area with the most picturesque Lakeland views.

Perfect place for multi-generational holiday!

We stayed in Beech Cottage and the size and layout of the accomodation was perfect for 10 of us across 3 generations. It was a really good size with plenty of bathrooms and we loved having use of the hot tub (which was maintained every day and emptied out and refreshed on the day we left). Beech Cottage has lovely views over fields and a really useful outdoor space to enjoy with a great outdoor dining area. We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the property and the amount of equipment provided. We did a lot of cooking and had everything we needed, including plenty of glasses and crockery! The beds were comfortable and all the rooms had plenty of space. We had beautiful weather while we were there but there was also a logburner in the living room, well stocked with plenty of wood, which we would have loved to use if it had been damp, cool weather! Although it was difficult to walk anywhere directly from the cottage, it was only a couple of minutes drive into Bowness with plenty of scenic walks and places to visit nearby. They also provided a very informative online guide which was very useful. We brought our paddleboard and enjoyed using it on Windermere and Coniston lakes where there are plenty of little 'beaches' that you can easily access. We were very impressed and would definitely recommend booking!

The cottage was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and exceeded our expectations.
Just a short (30 mins) walk into Bowness or plenty of taxis available if you didn’t want to walk.
We missed the turning in on arrival but found it after a quick U-turn.
Log burner and hot tub were well used xx

We had a wonderful stay at Beech cottage over the new year period. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, well equipped with everything that you would need. Just a couple of negatives we noticed, the handle on the log burner kept falling off and requires repair, the oven doesn’t seem to heat to the correct temperature possibly the thermostat needs replaced.
