We have recently returned from a four day break at Percy woods, we had a fabulous time with our grandchildren, the caravan was brilliant ! Very comfortable , the welcome pack very much appreciated, the kids loved the hot tub! The position of the caravan was great for exploring in the small wood behind us, we hope to use the same caravan in the future as not only was the caravan beautiful the area was brilliant , we all had a fabulous time.
We were extremely impressed with Torgorm Cottage No. 3. A beautifully furnished and well equipped cottage in a quiet, peaceful location with fantastic views. The cottage was cleaned to a very high standard, spacious and made for a perfect stay. The enclosed garden was well presented and perfect for our small dog Molly to explore. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage for those looking for a relaxing and peaceful break and the location made it easy to venture out and explore the beautiful Highlands.
Just spent a very comfortable week in Keiths Kabin on Percy Wood estate. The Kabin was clean, light and airy and extremely well equipped....even had ice cubes in the freezer. The welcome pack was much appreciated!! Situated in a lovely quiet area near trees and duck ponds. Ideally placed for exploring both the coastal area and the national park. I'll definitely be returning.
This holiday home was very clean and spacious and the chocolates and prosecco on arrival was a very good surprise. Hot tub was well maintained and checked daily for chlorine levels. Totally enjoyed our week and will definitely book again.
Our 1st time at this property & it didn't disappoint. Absolutely a lovely a place with everything you need & more! The location is perfect a proper sun trap with lots of seating areas. The welcome pack was amazing felt totally spoilt, I can't fault Silver Birch & glad to say I am returning later in the year!
This was the 3rd time we have stayed on site but first time in Little Fawn and have already re booked for next year! Cannot fault a thing. The place was absolutely spotlessly clean and had a real home from home feel. The outdoor space is great and plenty space for our little one to run about safely enclosed. We love the area as there’s plenty close by to see and do. Meal on site was brilliant too and staff very friendly. Staff have always been more than happy to help or answer any questions promptly and have always received the best service from everyone we have spoken to. Our little boy left ...more
Only thing I think that is lacking is a vegetable peeler ! Otherwise the place is perfect. Lovely pub 4m away the Granby Arms where the food is fabulous. The club house is a 10min walk through the golf course and Deer can be seen . Fairway View is tucked away in a corner plot very quiet and relaxing.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, same caravan, always spotless, owners are lovely and very professional and friendly, we had a hot tub with ours which is a bonus , always have a gift of wine, biscuits ect which is a lovely touch, we would highly recommend this site and caravan, beautiful place, quiet and very relaxing, love it here
Myself my mam & molly love it here been coming for over 3years now been in a few but bye far this was the best one xxx
Had a fab stay. Caravan was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Hot tub right on decking was perfect as well.
Gracies place was immaculately clean and smelt lovely. Very modern furnishings and everything you need. Also not forgetting the amazing hot tub 3 nights was just not enough.
Fabulous caravan and site. Ideally located to explore this wonderful area of Northumberland. Caravan has all you need for a relaxing break.
Due to go in June 2021 for my 60th birthday but had to cancel and reschedule. The staff were really understanding and advised we could re book for later date in the next 12months. We then went in September! Loved it, had a lovely time. The park was lovely, will definitely book to go again soon
Had a great time with my family, this has been my 5th time at the park it has everything u need in the lodge and will defo be returning thanks again Ps we had a prob will eletric and phone Tracy and we had it sorted straight away
Stayed at the lavender lodge from Monday the 11th of October till the 15th with my daughter and two grandchildren we had a great time the lodge was amazing it was like home from home and great value for money definitely would use again the hot tub makes it just so relaxing and Wendy was always at the other end of the phone if you needed help with anything
Deer View is a beautiful caravan, very well equipped with everything you need. Some lovely extra touches too. It's situated in a very quiet spot. The hot tub is a huge bonus and we made very good use of it.
Firtree is perfect. Quiet position has everything you need. Hot tub great. Can recommend food at C H.
The lodge was everything and more , clean, modern, well equipped and most importantly dog friendly x The hot tub was a delight and checked daily which was reassuring, the little extras like the complimentary prosecco and chocolates was a nice touch and much appreciated as were the provision of bathrobes for when you leave the hot tub x We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back and .thank you Hemera for your good customer service.
We had a lovley relaxing few days at Bamburgh log cabin. We found the cabin very clean and comfortable, lots of storage space in the bedrooms and comfy beds. We loved the location on the park, tucked out of the way in the corner it was nice and quiet with lovley views across the lake and a good spot to sit and watch the wildlife.
We really enjoyed our stay at Herdwick Lodge. The Lodge was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The Hot Tub was ready for us on arrival. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the lodge to family and friends. 5*
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge & would recommend it to friends. The lodge was very comfortable & provided everything you could want for a home away from home. The welcome gifts on our arrival were a lovely touch. The location allowed us to plan many interesting visits including Lindisfarne, Amble. Berwick etc.
Wysteria Rise and Percy Wood was absolutely outstanding. Lovely touch with prosecco and goodies on arrival. Good base for sightseeing but the park itself was clean and peaceful. We would definitely recommend and will return. The only suggestion I would make is maybe an umbrella / canopy for the hot tub to use when the weather isn't great but apart from that out break was outstanding. Short walk also to Bari Bar. Fab prices and very friendly.
Lodge perfect hot tub spotless .lovely view .great location for exploring Northumbria of the A1 easy process to book everything as expected .thankyou .
Excellent location, very clean and well looked after although as a family without a dog, it was clear that the property allows dogs as there was a strong smell in the sitting room area. Hot tub is great, but not easy to see from the photos how overlooked it is by the surrounding properties. Bed is very uncomfortable, although this will be different for everyone due to personal preference. Customer service is brilliant, overall would definitely recommend and would return to the park.
Only knocked 1 point off for comfort because the quilts on the bed were 13.5 tog and far to hot for the middle of June. Everything about Forget me not lodge is lovely and I will be returning very soon.
Had a great stay at Sweethope Lodge. Very clean and had everything that my family required. The hot tub was great and in great condition. I would definitely recommend the lodge and percy Woods which is in a great location to explore the area. Had a couple of things we needed to ask and the number provided gave us great help and were very accommodating. Loved our stay!
Great lodge on a great park. Stayed over 5 times now. Can't fault anything. Food great in the crazy horse saloon. Staff are very friendly.
Just returned from a short break with the Grand children. Our first visit to the North East. A fabulous time had by all. The caravan was lovely. The living area is spacious, bedrooms a bit wee but did the job. Our Granddaughter described the bed as springs with a sheet on but for 3 nights it was fine. Hot tub was lovely. Good value. We will be back.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The lodge was so much nicer than we were expecting, and felt like a home away from home! Our only small problem was that the toaster knocked all the power off and we weren’t sure how to get it back on! We were left a number to call if we needed anything on our stay but when we called the lady said it was her day off. She told us how to turn it back on but not sure why we were given a number of someone that wasn’t actually working! Other than that the stay was perfect! We will definitely be coming back!
On arriving at Sloeberry Lodge following the very clear instructions to find it, we were early, but the cleaners had finished and we were able to access straight away. The lodge is beautifully decorated and very clean. The heating was on so very comfortable. We actualy had to reduce the temperature and even turned the heating off by 6pm as the lodge was so warm. A nice touch was the prosecco choc bars and nibbles left for us. There are cleaning cloths washing up liquid and a little bit of kitchen roll and loo roll but we had taken ours with us. You also need to take any other condiments you ...more
Great lodge. Spacious living area. Gorgeous views across the golf course, and in an elevated position so great sky line views. We love Percy Woods.
Having stayed in the lodge last year we knew what to expect. The lodge is very comfortable inside and the hot tub is an added bonus and very welcome. Couple of minor issues which were addressed immediately. Lovely kind gesture of welcome treats. Lodge is perfectly situated on the park, in a quieter area and near to the lake. Outdoor area/decking needs some TLC but understand that a recent change of owner who probably hasn't had the time! A suggestion for the future perhaps. Most definitely worth a visit.
We were away with friends. Ruby was clean and well furnished with a great hot tub cleaned daily. Lovely views across Northumberland from its elevated position. Only criticism the large sofa and chairs leaves the lounge area limited for space when everyone is in the room.
Stayed in hillside view September 2021 - the lodge was nice and clean. However could do with some paint touch up in the dining area and carpet had quiet a bad stain on it - however it had been cleaned up but left a mark where it had been. Everything worked as it should. Could do with a bigger tv and a remote that you can make out what the buttons are for. Also a working tv in bedrooms would be nice. There was 1 tv but no Ariel connected to it, the main problem was the noisy boiler - it really interrupted sleep being next door to the main bedroom. The booming of the lodge was very good and st...more
We had a lovely weekend so peaceful and relaxing hot tub was lovely pub on site was fab lovely food carnt wait to go back
Sunflower Retreat has all you require to have an enjoyable break. it is on a good plot on the site with an fenced hot tube. hot been the operative word as it was never less than 40 degree C. It has a large American fridge/freezer, microwave and full size gas oven if you wish to cook. The site is quiet with very few onsite facilities ie bar and cafe all though you can walk through the golf course to their bar so its best to bring some supplies with you milk bread etc The accommodation provides a temperamental blue tooth speaker system which when paired to a phone is very good. The large TV p...more
We were the organisers of a group of 11 friends. Others stayed elsewhere on the site. We had the best accommodation by far. It is truly luxurious. The best lodge accommodation we’ve ever been to. Exceptionally spacious and well maintained. Lovely view over the golf course and Northumberland. Would totally recommend.
Everything was in good condition, only complaint was that both toilet seats need replacing as they didn't fit and constantly moved.
Perfect relaxing weekend Just what we needed, lots of days out around Friendly welcoming pub on site
Excellent lodge, quiet location next to duck pond, very clean and cosy. Hot tub private and spacious. Would stay again. Only small annoyance was fire alarm very sensitive, goes off evreytime you cook, even if just using kettle, oven or toaster!
Spent 11 nights at this beautiful caravan. The owner has certainly made it home from home, everything you need is there. Wonderful welcome hamper on arrival, chocolate, biscuits, crisps & Prosecco, very nice touch from the owner.Hot tub checked every day. Highly recommend and definitely would return.
The Wee one log cabin was ideal for 2 people, spacious and had everything we needed. Amazing value for money compared to other places in Scotland. Will definitely be recommend to others for future use.
Our stay coincided with lovely weather so hot tub was a hit. Having 2 bathrooms was also a boost. Very nice.
Great lodge everything you possibly need only slight niggle is that the sofa was slightly uncomfortable and if it sleeps x5 people there is only seating for x4 people around the table but overall great lodge
Overall enjoyed our stay however the property is a bit tired , locks on door are dodgy ,the oven was out of order and Jack’s place is literally 50 yards off the A1 so there is background noise, 1 bathroom for a 6 berth isn’t practical, the site was overrun with wasps and daily rubbish visits to the bins was challenging.
Overall we had a excellent long weekend and catch up at Sky’s Vue Lodge… Perfect for couples, families and groups
Casey's Lodge is situated on a lovely, quite, well kept holiday park in Morpeth. The lodge was ready for us on time and to welcome us was a bottle of Prosecco and a cake left in the well equipped kitchen. The lodge was very clean and well presented with a nice size lounge, two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower cubicle. Everything was in excellent condition and our stay was very comfortable and cosy. Outside the lodge was a fenced decking (which was safe for our dog to wonder around safely) and a lovely hot tub which we used every day. This was maintained daily. Overall our stay was e...more
We stayed in New Cottingburn House 11th to `5th Oct.We received a call on Mon morning to advise that the boiler had broken and couldn't be repaired for a few days.We were given the option to cancel but decided to go ahead. There was a large blown air heater and a portable radiator in the house and a lovely gas fire in the lounge. The house was very warm with these heaters and there were two electric showers. The only minor inconvenience was hot water first thing in the morning. The dishwasher had broken the weekend before we arrived but was replaced before we arrived so no hot water required f...more
This is the second time we have stayed on this site in this same caravan. Lovely caravan, was dog friendly. We even discovered more to the site than last year! will definitely be back! lovely hot tub.
We loved the lodge & hot tub! Very comfortable and warm. Plenty of living space to relax in. We had a well earned peaceful weekend. Thank you Wendy! X
When we 1st arrived I said to my partner where’s the hot tub? It was in a separate area the website photos was confusing we thought it was situated on the caravan not ideal as I had my dog. I never spent as much time in it as I wanted as my dog kept barking in the caravan upsetting other party’s, so that was a waste of money, any way we thought we would just deal with it and raise a complaint when we got back, the caravan was beautiful with home comforts but the cleanliness let it down I had to clean the table on decking area when I got there, the dishes all needed washed before I used them al...more
