Lovely property that was beautifully and tastefully furnished. It was like home from home being well equipped with utensils, crockery etc. It would have been helpful to have had another set of mugs as there was only 6 plus a lidded casserole dish.The owners are very friendly and helpful, managing to get us a table at the Masons Arms with the dog. Can highly recommend it for a meal though it is quite costly. We also had a tasty take-away from the Thai Herb Kitchen and they will deliver to the farm, which was a bonus. Once again we returned to Hawkings Hideaway for a blissful escape from the maddening crowds. Hitting the pause button on our normal busy life was just what we needed. Our third stay and one I willl never get tired of. This time we brought both our little dogs to share the break with. They loved the space, open fields, watching the deer from the decking in the mornings and rabbits at dusk. With close proximity to Woolacombe and the coast they had a whale of a time. Spacious, well appointed, and very comfortable accommodation. Very obliging, and friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble.
