The 2 floor apartment is in a converted hospital. It's on the top (2nd) floor but there is a lift. The apartment was very well appointed with everything you could need although the lounge was rather small for 6. The beds were luxurious but the main bedroom,ensuite and bathroom were a little cramped and the upstairs bedrooms were very warm. This was solved by leaving windows open all the time. The location was fabulous, an easy walk into the city but quiet at all times. Communication from Sharon, the owner, was exceptional and personal. You could tell she really cared. If we return to York, we would stay again.

We had a fantastic 2 nights at Betty’s View. Really appreciated the Christmas decorations which complimented the lovely decor. Great location, amazing view of the Minster and morning sky’s. Very clean and well equipped. Would love to stay again!

Betty’s Minster is an ideal flat to enjoy the many sights and experiences in York. The flat is very clean and well cared for and we have no hesitation to recommend it. The only problem we experienced was the lift was out of action and this caused us some difficulties as two in the group did have some difficulty climbing the stairs.

We had a great time staying here. Location is very good, close to the city centre and restaurants, but quiet and comfortable. It's also handy that there's a Sainsbury round the back of the building for when we didn't want to eat out.

This apartment is perfectly located just a stones throw from the Minster (which you can see from the kitchen and look beautiful at night lit up). And the rest of York city centre.
Kitchen is large and perfect for big family/friends meals, and there are some toys and books for children. All the little bits you need like cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, tea and coffee are provided. Living room is small but very cosy. The beds are so comfortable and the place was very clean.
Baby gates available at top and bottom of stairs.

This is a marvellous apartment in an excellent location. Very welcoming and comfortable, well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely to have the view of the Minster and to hear the Minster bells and to be so close to it.
Sharon was an excellent host, always quick to respond to any communication.
The slight downside is that noise travels easily to/from the kitchen/dining area and the upstairs bedrooms but you just have to be aware of that.
We look forward to staying here again.

Minster View was a lovely apartment overlooking York Cathedral. It was very clean, comfortable and had a luxury feel to it. It was ideally situated to the City Centre and all the attractions. We would definitely recommend.

We stayed in this lovely modern apartment for a family birthday celebration. The location could not be better, easy hassle free parking and a short stroll into York (2/3 mins).
The apartment itself was super clean, comfy and modern. It had everything you could want and more! Even down to a whisk!!
The booking process was smooth as was the check in and out process.
Sharon was happy to offer recommendations about the local area and extra parking. I felt she was approachable and truly cared about her guests. She even text to make sure we arrived safely!
We would love to stay again and if the opportunity arrises we would not think twice about re booking!
