We rented several apartments at Fingals and this enabled us to have exclusive use of the property and its facilities. This made it ideal for a family gathering and holiday as all the apartments are well appointed and the facilities are excellent. Richard and Sheila are very good hosts had a flexible attitude, and ensured that everything went off well and all the family enjoyed their time there.We would certainly consider renting on the same basis again.
My family and I have had yet another wonderful stay at our favourite spot in Devon... Fingals! This is the first time we've stayed in Wisteria Suite and we'd happily stay there again, perfect for a family of four. The natural beauty of the area, particularly the valley in which Fingals sits, is spectacular. we will definately remember our stay at the folly and hope it will be the start of many it is hard to put into words as the whole experience was unique in so many ways - a quintessentially english setting overlooking from our balcony onto the grass tennis court and an eclectic mix of charming artifacts making up the homely environment of the folly - the general ambiance at Fingals was one of connection - feeling connected to the sense of bringing people together and sharing experiences our dog finn made himself quite at home thank you for a memorable experience
A home from home, it was our third stay at Fingals, and it continues to hold its magic. The Barberry Brook is a gorgeous, light and airy mezzanine apartment. Fingals also has a games room with vintage table football and pool, and the swimming pool is housed in a conservatory with overgrown plants and hand painted Ancient Greece inspired mural. We love it for its lived in feeling, and its quirks. It is a very special place indeed.
