Just returned for a great week away - staying at Furswood was a pleasure! It looked exactly as the pics shown it if not better. The location was great and the service from all the team prior to booking and whilst at the house was amazing. Would defiantly recommend both Furswood and Cornish Seaview Properties.
Super week in a lovely house. Great views in a lovely position. Can’t wait to go back! Very clean! Tingatel and Boscastle 5mins drive good pub food!
This was our first stay at Lower Hillcott after spending holidays in Crackington for the last 30 years. As our family needs changed and expanded we looked for larger accommodation, and this provided what we needed. The location was still very good whilst the accommodation and stunning grounds provided what we needed. Matt the caretaker provided excellent service, whilst the accommodation had been very well thought out. We will definitely be returning.
This rental unit is literally 2 minutes walk to the beach. The huge balcony has a full sea view, 3 bedrooms are ensuite, This is my favourite location - i bring the kids, grandkids and the dog here once a year , hopefully, I'll be back next year.
Beautiful traditional cottage in excellent grounds with a superb view. Lots of space both inside and out. Loved the two very different outside seating areas - one with the sea view and the other more sheltered from the breeze alongside a pretty stream. Only two tiny niggles firstly no wood burner (and the gas equivalent wasn't working as there was a crack in the glass) and secondly for us the double bed was just too soft making it uncomfortable - but thats personal taste. Great walks along the coastal path right from the door - our dog loved it. They do have a BBQ even though not listed on the...more
We stay here every year and love it as it is a home from home for us. The location is brilliant as you walk straight out onto the sand dunes directly onto the beach. We had issues with the sofas that were out of their control and it was dealt with as well as possible, was just unfortunate with the timing. We have already booked for next year and cannot wait to go back.
Everyone of the family loved the house. It has large warm rooms looking onto the beach. We felt at home and the house contributed to the success of our family reunion. The house was heated which we appreciated very much. A minor comment: we couldn't reach the caretaker, neither before nor during the stay; she never called back. Otherwise, everything was well organized.
We had a delightful stay at Hazledene. Beautiful views from every room and terraces overlooking a gorgeous garden and the woodland, sea and cliffs of the bay. Cosy, comfortable and stylish throughout with high quality kitchen. Highly recommended. Remember dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and all other essentials as nothing provided.
A really comfortable & well equiped cottage. It is perfect for walking & sea swimming. We had a great week with friends, family & dog.
We had a comfortable stay at Arnolds Cottage. The cottage was excellently placed for access to the south west coast path and local beaches. We often were able to walk straight out and leave the car at home. Some of the property was in need of a facelift but this didn’t affect our comfort. I would thoroughly recommend the property to nylons wanting to stay in a beautiful part of the uk.
Beautiful old cottage perfectly situated near enough to be able to walk to Treyarnon bay. Quiet and peaceful . Gorgeous beds and linen. Well equipped kitchen. Have stayed before and was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t informed that the games , books and dvds had been removed. ( understand covid restrictions etc) Also no basic condiments available.? Considering that it was beginning of the season the garden needed a bit of work. Overall very happy.
Starting with the good things about the property: 1) The location is unbeatable. High up so you get great views of the estuary, quiet and a short pleasant walk into town (10 mins). The views from the living room and the master bedroom are also incredible, panoramic and unobstructed, really gives it that wow factor. 2) The apartment is very large and the kitchen is well equipped, it is comfortable enough to feel a bit like a home from home. The bad things about the property are as follows: 3) The interior is very outdated and tired out in many places. Drawers are hanging off furni...more
We had a fabulous week at Surfside - the location could have not been better and the facilities in the apartment were excellent. Just perfect for our large group, and we never felt cramped as there was plenty of space for all. The only thing we hadn't expected was to be charged £70 for a week's parking of our second car - I would imagine most large parties would arrive in more than one car, but it didn't distract from a great week.
Lovely time at the cottage. It didn’t detract from the good time we had, but the property needs some attention and it would be a shame if it deteriorates further. Positives: Comfortable beds, clean cooker and white goods. Secure garden for dogs. Negatives: Attention is needed to the rotting windows and inside wall in the bay window. Some sun loungers and a parasol would have been nice.shame you couldn’t see out of the windows in the lounge due to frosted glass but guess this is a legal requirement. Dogs not allowed upstairs so a stair gate is needed.
This was our second time staying here. The last time was 2019. It’s in a great location with wonderful views over Port Isaac from the back balcony. It could do with a bit of updating in some area’s ( the back door is hard to close, not many small glasses, ) but nothing major. The layout of the house certainly works for our family when we get together for a holiday.
We had a lovely holiday in a great location. The property was very clean but basic and the terrace was poorly equipped and in serious need of maintenance. The outside furniture was rusty and unusable. One half dead plant and a weedy patio. Great views so needs to be fit for purpose!! The sofa is the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever sat on. The appliances seem old and the washer/dryer sounded like a plane taking off, very worrying. Serious lack of storage and cheap basic fittings and fixtures. The towels were too small - bath sheets please!! The bathrooms were lovely but not so much as a to...more
