Omg what a beautiful place. When we arrived they was everything that we need. Nik the caretaker was just at the end of the phone if you needed her and she is amazing. The beautiful garden was so big. We played a lot of games. My dog loved it. Even though you get the feeling of being in the middle of no where, everything is just a short car ride away. The place is very clean and comfortable. They have thought of everything. Electric car port, tumble dryer and washing machine, which I loved. No taking dirty washing home. Le Breuil is a spacious beautiful property in the countryside. It is laid out well, with 5 comfortable bedrooms, a huge, well kitted out kitchen and sitting room with a large tv and outside eating and bbq areas. We enjoyed having a choice of 4 tables to sit at for meals, 2 inside and 2 out. The pool was a joy and it was a perfect temperature. We enjoyed bicycling to the local village as well as playing lots of table tennis, table football, snooker and water volleyball and boule.
This was our second stay at Lower Hillcot. Everything is there for a family. Our grandchildren range from 20 to 8 years old, and 1 dog. Crackington Haven is great for all of us.
This property has undoubtably the best seaview on the North Treyarnon Bay sea front, and the sunsets, experienced from the generous balcony, are simply exquisite! With direct foot access to the beautiful beach, coastal paths to north and south, Padstow just a short drive away with the breathtaking Camel Estuary and trail to explore, and St Breock Downs, etc... there is much to do here for all ages! We stayed here for the last week of the summer holidays, the house is very large and we had ample room for the 10 of us, it’s also pet friendly but we decided not to take the dog in the end. The bedrooms are good sizes, as is the kitchen and conservatory. Outdoor areas were good with plenty of garden furniture as we sat outside most evenings and had the odd BBQ. Laundry room came in handy as we had to wash some clothes! We found our property better than the photos could show. Very spacious and bright. Great facilities. Good communication. I can see the floor will need work in the future, but all in all a very spacious and well equipped property suitable to accommodate a large family and /or group. A wonderful time had by all.
This year we celebrated our 10th consecutive year of holidaying at Primrose Cottage. It is perfect for our needs and never fails to satisfy. The cottage has so much charm and it ticks all the boxes when we look for a coastal holiday with the dogs. Unlike many dog friendly cottages the flooring is a great combination of slate and carpet. Not having laminate for the dogs to slip on is just perfect.
A lovely home for a group gathering, with 8 adults being accommodated effectively. Pity no BBQ, there was one in the advert. We was lucky as we could not work the central heating, the control item kept saying no signal. That dod not matter as the weather was warn in the day and we had lovely comfy beds and nice bedding to keep us at night. The log burner worked brilliant as did the cookers. The dog loved the garden, and we saw fabulous sunsets. a downhill walk to Crackington Haven with welcoming pub and cafes. Bit of a climb back up, but hey ho a night cap was waiting. Stayed at the cottage over a number of years. Property is beginning to look and feel tired. Issues around the plumbing (toilet doesn’t function).
This was our second stay at this property and we hope to stay again. It's very spacious and offers absolutely stunning views of the estuary, the old railway bridge and across to Rock. It is well located for everythig the area has to offer and is only a few minutes walk to the Camel Trail and on to the centre of lovely Padstow (steep hill on the way back!). It would benefit from a 'deep clean' but all the main areas and linens were spotless and everything worked; there was nothing to concern us. Fantastic location for a beach swim or barbeque or just a morning cup of tea by the sea. Love the outside hot shower after a swim too. The cottage is a squeeze for six people but we managed. Can only really have one person at a time in the kitchen. Outside seating is lovely for breakfast. It's a quirky historic cottage which is very homely, especially with the log burner in the evening. Nearby Cabin Cafe has lovely food and we used the bus from there to visit Boscastle and St Nectan's Glen. Oh and don't forget to sit on the wall opposite the pub for the beautiful sunsets.
Beau Vista is a lovely flat and we have stayed there many times over the years. We love the views and the sunrises, the warmth and comfort, the comfy beds and seating areas. As always, the showers are at best mediocre and are the only weak point in a beautiful flat. We had a lovely stay.
This is our second year staying at Westover Cottage and we loved it. This year the weather was not as nice as in previous years which is the ultimate test of holiday home - we found it cosy and relaxing and as soon as the weather allowed we were immediately able to get out and about enjoying what the Roseland Peninsula has to offer. We hope to be back again!
We have stayed in the Treyarnon Suite many times and it is ideal for our planned holiday - beach all the time weather permitting as its literally a short walk to 2 magnificent beaches
Great location. Sadly the house/kitchen contents were not clean and AGA cold on arrival. - Were told the house had undergone a 'deep clean' prior to our arrival - however, we spent our first afternoon/evening making the house habitable. This included: - Cleaning kitchen appliances/surfaces/utensils & collected various items that had been 'left around' - including a vape, rubbish etc. - AGA was not on (caretaker had forgotten to switch on), so no means to cook (except for a couple of electric rings in the kitchen). This property is in a poor state with a number of safety issues which would make it totally unsuitable for children under 8 and anyone with mobility problems. Despite a large number of electric heaters and dehumidifers, the draughty windows made it very cold, especially in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The ensuite and bathroom are in a poor state and need updating. The taps, shower, and rusty towel rail need replacing, as does the rusty extractor hood in the kitchen.
