We had a great time at Fursewood. The cottage is very beautiful with a stunning view on the ocean. I would love to come back as soon as I can.
Le Breuil is a spacious beautiful property in the countryside. It is laid out well, with 5 comfortable bedrooms, a huge, well kitted out kitchen and sitting room with a large tv and outside eating and bbq areas. We enjoyed having a choice of 4 tables to sit at for meals, 2 inside and 2 out. The pool was a joy and it was a perfect temperature. We enjoyed bicycling to the local village as well as playing lots of table tennis, table football, snooker and water volleyball and boule.
Great location and also lovely that there is a games room and table tennis table. Also wetsuits and surf boards.
This property has undoubtably the best seaview on the North Treyarnon Bay sea front, and the sunsets, experienced from the generous balcony, are simply exquisite! With direct foot access to the beautiful beach, coastal paths to north and south, Padstow just a short drive away with the breathtaking Camel Estuary and trail to explore, and St Breock Downs, etc... there is much to do here for all ages! The accommodation is spacious and fully equipped to make your stay comfortable, convenient and stressfree, and the nearby YHA offer food and drinks with excellent service, and Constantine Bay stores...more
We stayed here for the last week of the summer holidays, the house is very large and we had ample room for the 10 of us, it’s also pet friendly but we decided not to take the dog in the end. The bedrooms are good sizes, as is the kitchen and conservatory. Outdoor areas were good with plenty of garden furniture as we sat outside most evenings and had the odd BBQ. Laundry room came in handy as we had to wash some clothes! The property has everything you need, hoover, ironing board, hairdryers etc Location was across the road from the Newquay airport which is probably the quietest in Britain!! ...more
Very spacious. Plenty of room for all of us. Well equipped with everything we needed. Stunning views across to the sea.
Overall good location, we were warm and cosy, however the driveway was a problem, it is too steep and caught the bottom of our car, we had to park in the adjoining property to avoid any more damage, the welcome book did not match the cottage, ie WiFi, wooden floors, quartz worktops etc. The bedroom door handles were extremely noisy. The cottage would benefit from a deep clean, especially down and behind radiators. Sue and Steve opposite were most helpful.
This year we celebrated our 10th consecutive year of holidaying at Primrose Cottage. It is perfect for our needs and never fails to satisfy. The cottage has so much charm and it ticks all the boxes when we look for a coastal holiday with the dogs. Unlike many dog friendly cottages the flooring is a great combination of slate and carpet. Not having laminate for the dogs to slip on is just perfect.
Upon arriving at Penrose Cottage we were blown away by the space and comfort. The parking was tight in the carport. We would highly recommend Penrose cottage.
Overall stay was enjoyable but just a few things that might help future residents: - garden is very steep and overgrown, kids didn’t want to play in it, couldn’t kick a ball around etc - cleanliness could have been improved - under sofas in drawers etc a bit grubby - when you walk past the wardrobes in the bedroom they wobble and make a loud noise - not great for night visits to bathroom when you don’t want to wake anyone - beds have extremely soft mattresses - no kettle in kitchen - just hot tap - no instructions for using cooker/oven - kitchen accessories could be better - a little ti...more
This was our second stay at this property and we hope to stay again. It's very spacious and offers absolutely stunning views of the estuary, the old railway bridge and across to Rock. It is well located for everythig the area has to offer and is only a few minutes walk to the Camel Trail and on to the centre of lovely Padstow (steep hill on the way back!). It would benefit from a 'deep clean' but all the main areas and linens were spotless and everything worked; there was nothing to concern us. The property itself is rather tired and has massive potential for updating but this is refle...more
We have stayed at Old Cottage for at least four holidays in August. The cottage is always clean and tidy. My only concern is the cooker and oven, which is getting quite old and in my opinion needs to be replaced. Apart from that, the cottage is adequate for short holidays. It would be great if a washing line could be put up…..we managed to create one for the time we were there, but, not adequate for big towels and wet swimming gear etc Having the use of the garage is a big plus!
Beau Vista is a lovely flat and we have stayed there many times over the years. We love the views and the sunrises, the warmth and comfort, the comfy beds and seating areas. As always, the showers are at best mediocre and are the only weak point in a beautiful flat. We had a lovely stay.
This is our second year staying at Westover Cottage and we loved it. This year the weather was not as nice as in previous years which is the ultimate test of holiday home - we found it cosy and relaxing and as soon as the weather allowed we were immediately able to get out and about enjoying what the Roseland Peninsula has to offer. We hope to be back again!
Great holiday and Penkenna is brilliantly situated by the sea with views to die for. Balcony was ideal for evening BBQ's.
We have stayed in this property a number of times mainly driven by the excellent location which absolutely ticks every box for us as we have a dog and love the sea
The location is idealic, with the most fantastic view of the coast and St Michael's Mount. On arrival we enjoyed our free bottle of wine looking out over the ocean with the sun setting after a long day of beautiful weather. It's a short steep walk down to the local cove, with lots of great hiking nearby. The single-lane access road is narrow and long, and as in many places of this kind the beds could be larger: but we had a highly memorable time.
