Darley House is a beautiful, comfortable family home. Our extended family were able to share a wonderful long weekend together in Darley, and it ticked every box for us. Comfortable, well equipped, spacious and very welcoming, The games room provided fun and laughter when the weather turned bad, while evenings playing board games as the children slept were perfect. Lucy was a superb point of contact all through the booking arrangements, and information was at our fingertips through the well designed app. The surrounding area offers lots of interesting places to visit, to suit all ages.
I would highly recommend Darley to other family groups.

We (a group of 5 couples, with 6 children under 6) recently stayed at Darley House and had the most wonderful time. The house is finished to a very high standard, and well appointed. The number of bathrooms/en suites was particularly helpful with such a large group of different families. The kitchen/diner/mezzanine area is a great communal area and comfortable accommodated the full party during the daytime. The sitting room was a cosy place to relax for the adults once the children were in bed. All the bedrooms are comfortable and a good size. The house is on the doorstep of the Peak District and has plenty of Grade A attractions within 15 minutes drive such as Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. We will be back, and wholeheartedly recommend Darley House to anybody looking for a large holiday home in the Peak District.

Darley House is very special. Georgian grandeur and so very welcoming at the same time.
From the first point of contact with Lucy, the owner, it was clear to me that this was no ordinary holiday rental. Every detail has been thought of and Lucy was so friendly and helpful, she is just the perfect host.
We gathered to celebrate a big Birthday, and made so many cherished memories that we will treasure forever. It was an amazing weekend, perfect in every way. Thank you Darley House

We absolutely loved our stay at Darley House. The house and gardens definitely have the wow factor and we couldn't believe how beautiful the place was. Darley House is practical too with everything you could possibly want or need, from table-tennis to crockery. All fixtures and fittings are high-quality too. There was excellent communication and service from Lucy, the host, who supplied all essential info as well as recommendations for activities in the area. We would love to come back!

This was a lovely home for a family holiday with plenty of space for 8 adults. The house was beautiful with fabulous gardens. We really liked the combination of having the lovely home as our base, but with plenty of local attractions and the Derbyshire countryside close by. Highly recommended.

Wonderful house for large family or group of friends as a base to explore The Peak District. Ample accommodation and parking for 6 cars including an EV charging point. We really enjoyed the large kitchen/dining room leading out to the garden and made most of the outdoor seating area overlooking the well-maintained garden. Knowledgable host with good knowledge of surrounding are and attractions. Fully equipped kitchen for home cooking and within easy reach of loads of local restaurants and pubs.

Darley House was a delight to stay in . A beautiful Georgian house recently renovated with no expense spared. We felt like we were staying in a 5 star luxury hotel. Importantly it also felt like a home rather than a holiday rental. A truly special place and we all would love to return. Highly recommend a stay here. You wont be disappointed.

You cannot help but be impressed when you arrive. It is everything as described in the ‘Darley House app’. We were a party of 8 adults and 6 children(ages from 2yrs to 14yrs) and with the addition of a hot tub and pergola the weekend was perfect.
We used the BBQ which was a bit Ricky as we had no experience of the Little Green Tub but got there in the end. The kitchen is what we all want, space, facilities and functional.
Bedrooms, beds and en-suites are equally impressive. There is so much we could say but be rest assured you will not be disappointed. The venue helped us make memories and celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary - big big thanks to Lucy-you are a star.

We had a wonderful time at Darley House! It’s such a beautiful house with amazing grounds too and a great location in the Peaks. The table tennis and pool table were a big hit with our group and the children loved exploring the grounds and playing hide and seek! Communication with Lucy, the owner, was brilliant and it felt very personal as well as being very clear and thorough. We would definitely recommend this house - a wonderful place to stay and create memories for all the family.

Prior to arrival Lucy was really helpful and always responded quickly.
The two lounges were helpful as the children were able to watch films in the lounge with a tv while the rest of us sat in the larger room.
Everywhere was beautifully done.
The grounds are beautiful. We had more family join us for the day and there was still plenty of room. We took our own camping chairs which was helpful. We played rounders and badminton and also flew a kite so there really is a lot of space. There are a few gaps through the garden to the main road so little ones need to be watched. We were there over the bank holiday so the road was busy and quite noisy.
We had an amazing time. A great place for celebrations.
