We stayed in Gamekeeper’s Cottage for 4 nights in April and absolutely loved every minute of it. The grounds were beautiful and so peaceful — the perfect place to relax and switch off. Ann and Martin couldn’t have done more for us and made both us and our dog feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Thoughtful touches throughout the stay made such a difference, especially the personalised dog tag for our spaniel in case he wandered off - a total game changer when you own a spaniel! My husband and I with our dog Molly had a fantastic stay at Tallentire. The Hayloft was spotless and comfortable. The enclosed garden and quiet location was perfect for our anxious dog. Tallentire was a fabulous base for exploring local towns with great walks either from the doorstep or a short drive away. Thanks so much for a wonderful break - we will be booking again.
