We booked the cottages for a group of 12 and it was perfect! The location is stunning and so peaceful Big kitchens and sitting areas with lots of outdoor space The rooms were cosy Near to Whitchurch where we had a great pub lunch Overall fantastic stay!
A great cottage for our family. The kids loved their bedrooms with the beams and gorgeous round window. Plenty of space for us all with all you need in the kitchen to cater for a young family. Even though it was a bit cold the kids loved the pay area and the ride on tractors and the play castle too. We had a few games of football as well. the pool warmed us all up and was perfect for the kids. Whitchurch is the local town and is lovely.
James’s Parlour easily accommodated 12 of us in comfort for a long weekend. The barn was spotlessly clean and well equipped, whilst the well maintained pool and outdoor play areas kept the children busy and were enjoyed by all. In addition the large garden/paved area attached to the barn was great for relaxing and eating alfresco. I would have no hesitation in recommending James’s Parlour and would certainly stay there again.
Spacious clean & comfortable.Ground floor kitchen, dinning area flows nicely & lounge had plenty of seating .Our granddaughter who was crawling enjoyed the freedom of being able to crawl around downstairs areas if doors were left open! Kitchen well supplied with plenty of cutlery pots pans glasses for 8 adults 2 children & a baby! Fridge/freezer good size, cooker & dishwasher easy to use, home from home. Me and partner stayed with three other couples for a long weekend. Besides a couple of the bedrooms being a little tight for room we had a great time. We never used the pool or outdoor facilities but they looked great and would be ideal for kids and young families. Except location too that enabled us to have a great weekend.
