Had a wonderful cozy stay in the shepherds hut with my partner. Was a very last minute stay, but Jayne was speedy with her communication and gave permission for my partner to fish in a pond over the road which he thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast in the tearoom on site was included in the price too, and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend!
Perfect little place for a weekend away. Hot tub was a bonus. Pubs within walking distance which I would fully recommend. Can’t wait to return.
Absolutely gorgeous, all very clean and lots of space for the two of us. Sometimes cabins can feel quite cramped but this one was very spacious, it had parking right outside which was perfect, and the town of Betley had some pubs for food which were super yummy!! The cabin itself is close by to Chester (about an hour) and there are many walks to do around! The owner went to great lengths to ensure we were comfortable and we could not recommend this place anymore. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
We visited the area to scatter Dad's ashes and Carpenters was a perfect location for us. Such a a beautiful cottage with everyone we needed including a fantastic hot tub tucked away in a fabulous private space. On arrival I was worried about being next to the main road but it wasn't a problem. The garden area and neighbouring donkeys were a real treat and we had a lovely evening stroll down to the mere. All together a lovely few days away with a fantastic host, thank you Jayne and family xx
