Sea side living with a contemporary twist , set at the end of promenade in Sandown this beautiful house was all about comfort
with two parking spaces at the back and most of the bedrooms having balconies it was brilliant for our family of 5 adults . It was a great Base for our staycation for 2021.
Hopefully the influx of Staycations and people willing to pay the price for great accommodation this will put money back into our seaside towns and put them on to every one first choice for a holiday :)
Our recent visit to New Horizon was perfect under the circumstances of Covid. The accommodation was ideal for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. Everything was almost new and the property was clean and well presented. The highlight was the view from the main living area. Looking out from the breakfast bar or kitchen area was like a paneramic view from a cruise liner.
The management team were very attentive and went the extra mile to make our visit perfect.
Location to the beach and an excellent beach bar was ideal and of course access to other attractions on the Isle of Wight are all with...more
We had a lovely stay at Briar Bank having previously stayed on the outskirts of Shanklin many moons ago when our children were little. We are family of 6: 2 adults (parents), 2 adult children (23 and 21) and their partners and on the whole we were able to enjoy the space reasonably well. We asked for the 2nd reception room with sofa bed to be set up as our 3rd bedroom as the bunk beds weren't suitable for our son and his girlfriend. This was done without any problems and accommodated them very comfortably.
The kitchen was well equiped for cooking with plenty of plates, mugs and glasses thou...more
The property was very clean and close to the town and beach with free parking facilities.
Kitchen was well equipped with lots of useful items.
The only thing that was not mentioned before booking was the building site in front of us.
Thankfully although the diggers were there we did not see any workmen.
Would highly recommend this property.
Good place and well situated outside Shanklin. Space only really for one larger car and no garden, but the house is very nice. A little dark but quiet, peaceful, and well maintained. Beds rather soft but otherwise lovely.
