This was a great home - in an ideal location.
We walked to the co-op for a few groceries and we walked to bakeries and to dinner each day.
The home was clean and well stocked and the beds were very comfortable.
The communication was top-notch! We loved all of the information that they provided prior to the trip so that we could plan accordingly. It was a smooth check in and check out process and I’d highly recommend this property!

We recently stayed in the harbour house with my two children for a break in Skye. The house had everything we needed and was a really comfortable home. My children loved the table football table. We also all appreciated the space in the bedrooms and two separate living areas. The welcome box on arrival was a really special touch. I’ll miss the harbour view in the morning as the sun came round the cliff. This was a perfect home to help us enjoy our time on this beautiful island

Harbour house is the perfect getaway house……it feels like ‘home’ the minute you go through the front door. The view is stunning and sitting outside looking at the view with a glass of wine was the perfect start to our Skye holiday. The house itself was beautifully clean with a lot of basic amenities supplied plus a very nice welcome hamper of goodies.

Everything was sharp and absolutely perfect. Having a parking spot is really valuable in Portree, the house is clean, charming, and has all the equipment you’ll ever need.

Just one - unavoidable - thing to keep in mind : the constant flow of people in front of the house, will to take THE perfect shot of the harbour, which happens to be just in front of the house.

Our family enjoyed a fabulous (and too short) 2 night stay in June. Everything about the house was perfect. We were so happy to have the washer. The beds were so comfortable. The location couldn’t be beat. We enjoyed a take-away dinner on the table outside.

Harbour House was perfect for us and we would have loved to stay even longer! We had a family of two young children, two parents, and two grandparents and Harbour House offer accommodations, comforts, and surprises for us all. Inside the house, everything was clean, the rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable, and there were games, toys, and movies for the kids. The view and location on the end of a dead end road on the water was perfect. Other than a few curious pedestrians wandering past, it was quite private for being right in town. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a small grocery store as well.

This is a wonderful place to stay for a family get together. As our stay was short it was lovely to have everything run smoothly. We had decided not to do much self catering and there were plenty of places to get food and good coffee etc. Even the location of the local Coop was a boon for fresh baked goods etc. The fire place was a delight in the evening. Our visit was in October and even then Portree is a busy place but this accommodation is tucked away along the waterfront but still a quick walk to everything. Great to have a couple of dedicated parking spots and our own picnic table. Skye is such a beautiful place to visit. This is trip for the family archives.

Lovely home with all the comforts of home - more than enough room for our family of 6 (Grandparents, parents and 2 kids). The home has an amazing location with a view of the waterfront and sea and is centrally located. Communication with owners was easy and home was easy to check-in (self-check in). Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

One of the nicest holiday homes we’ve stayed in. Superb location, never got bored of sitting at the garden table on the waters edge. The house is beautifully presented with every little detail covered, beautiful decor and super comfortable beds. Would be back a few times every year if it wasn’t 9 hrs drive! Thanks, we loved it

What a great place on the harbour in Portree, with 2 good size parking places and a little table outside when the weather allowed. The house is well equipped and furnished, with a great sized Kitchen/Diner and comfortable lounge. The bedrooms had very good beds with good quality bedding. Good to have 2 bathrooms as well .

The house is gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. It was clean and light with a beautiful view of the harbour. It was good to be able to sit at the table opposite for an early morning cuppa or a glass of wine but the house itself also has lovely views

A generous and tasty welcome pack that was devoured and plenty of equipment and utensils

I would thoroughly recommend it and would gladly stay there again.

What a privilege to stay at Harbour House with a postcard view out of every window. We absolutely loved it!
The property is incredibly well set out and provisioned. Everything you need is there.
Great shops around the corner.
Great area for the kids with their own space.
Very accessible to the Isle of Skye landmarks.
This property was one of the highlights of our UK trip.

The Harbor House was perfect for walking to all the shops of Portree, enjoying sunrises, and driving proximity to many of the attractions the Isle of Skye is known for. The entire unit was spacious and well appointed with all three bedrooms upstairs that have good separation from each other. In particular, the kitchen amenities were top notch with plenty of dishes, and space to cook and eat. Having a washer & dryer came in very handy too. The parking space opposite the front door worked very well for us... it was one of the reasons we chose Harbor House as parking in Portree can be a hassle. Lastly, the pictures on their website are accurate.

We had a wonderful stay at harbour house! The house is beautiful, in a perfect location with amazing views - beautifully furnished, well equipped with everything you need. Table football is great fun, beds are genuinely comfy (which I don’t often say!) and the house was very clean.
We also really appreciated the plastic free toiletries and toilet roll.

This is a lovely house with an amazing location looking over the bay in Portree. The sunsets and boats in the harbour are lovely to see, especially from the table outside the house, on the seafront. A great base for exploring the beautiful Isle of Skye

The house is very comfortable with good quality furniture and fittings. The location and setting is excellent having wonderful sea views but within minutes of all the amenities in Portree. The added bonus of dedicated parking and being so quiet gave us everything we could want. Would definitely recommend as a wonderful base to explore this beautiful island.

Harbour House is a real treat. Beautifully, tastefully and thoughtfully furnished and decorated, and with delightful art on the walls, Harbour House has everything in it that you need for a home from home feel while on holiday. The location could not be more perfect - so close to the sea and amenities in the town and with it's own private parking spaces outside the house. Outstanding week stay for 6 adults. Spotlessly clean. The only downside is that there is not a downstairs toilet for our elderly guests. But upstairs bathrooms look brand new and are awesome. The location and views really are as good as it looks. Great to have parking space outside. Would definitely return!

Exceeded our expectations on every level. Incredible views and extremely comfortable. We slept so soundly every night! The welcome basket on arrival was a lovely treat, as were the bathrooms well stocked with shower gel and shampoo. The only fly in the ointment was the shortage of places to hang washed clothes. That being said, there is a dryer, but the options for delicate drying were limited.

We had a lovely stay with our three teenager kids. Great location right in the center of Portree but super quiet at nights. Very easy to walk to restaurants and shops, plus the lovely Scorrybreac circular walk was close. The quality and condition of Harbour House was excellent and everything you could want in a self-catering rental.
