Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Orroland itself is a great place to be if you wish to commune with Nature. Auchengashell as a holiday accommodation is top class.

Auchengashell is a beautiful house, which served us very well. The spacious bedrooms have lovely quality beds, bedding, towels and toiletries.We really enjoyed seeing red squirrel and other wildlife around the estate, which is very tranquil to walk around. The pool room was well used by us all, particularly when it rained. The very well equipped kitchen with its huge table, made for comfortable family meals, and impressive wood burner in the lounge was really cosy. WIfi at the property is excellent, unusual for such a remote location. Such a peaceful setting, Orroland and Auchengashell are a unique experience.

We had a wonderful holiday with all the family to celebrate a family birthday. The house and garden were all we could have wished for. All our needs were met and it was ideal . Spotlessly clean and beautifully fitted bathrooms.

We stayed for a weekend. The house is immaculate and equipped with everything you need. The house is beautiful. I loved the welcome cake and coffee. We enjoyed a BBQ too. The house has spectacular views across the solway. Absolutely beautiful. We had a fab time playing pool. Orroland is simply magical. Stunning grounds to explore. So peaceful. We loved seeing all the wildlife- guinefowl, squirrels, rabbits, hares, deer, kite, heron to name a few. Highly recommend.
