Had an absolutely fantastic time away in the peak district, staying at Torr Vale Mill. Accomodation absolutely first rate, felt like real luxury. Can't believe it was the original mill clocking inn house! Comms from the booking team were great, easy to access the property, clear instructions which were easy to follow. Lovely welcome basket of teas, coffees and biscuits. Top tip, visit the tap room on site for some great food and drinks.
We visited Pooles Cavern whilst we stayed, the organised tour was excellent. Also Quarry Bank Mill was great for the kids (and he) as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, the suite was lovely and cosy with brick walls and windows with views of the stunning grounds. It feels like stepping into its own little world. The restaurant was great as well! Thanks for a lovely well needed rest :)
I stayed for week early new year when it was icy and snow on the ground. This was my second stay after more than ten years. The heating was on constantly, everything snug as a bug. They gritted the steep road to the house and the entrance path so I wouldn't slip. There's even a tap room just down the hill. There's an excellent cafe with superb coffee on the bridge.

Air bnb style, therefore no customer service. Accommodation is pleasant but nothing to write home about - there are notably better value air bnbs in walking distance from this one.
Voucher included for cafe, but cafe service is questionable. Though the food is decent the cafe refused making a second round of hot drinks when we were ther...more
