It is important to start that we enjoyed our holiday. We have stayed in many many cottages home and abroad which gives us a balanced review of our stay. Sadly we feel the Old Workshop is “tired” and needs a few details which would dramatically improve customer satisfaction. The linen was clean and general house was acceptable. However the meat dish in the oven was dirty and obviously not been cleaned. Had a good stay , a few areas need doing up, like the rusty radiator in the bathroom and the skirting board.
Not a good set up for a bridal suite - very very early check out for previous bride results in embarrassing overlaps and tensions at change over. Having a separate bridal suite to get ready in on premise would massively improve this for bride and groom. Air bnb style, therefore no customer service. Accommodation is pleasant but nothing to write home about - there are notably better value air bnbs in walking distance from this one. Voucher included for cafe, but cafe service is questionable.
