Owl barn was perfect for what we needed. In a great location within a few minutes walk of morston quay, opposite morston hall and near by all the main places to go. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
Beautiful, tastefully presented cottage in the centre of Thornham. Close to the wonderful deli and The Orange Tree. Easy scenic walk to the beach. Easy parking. Lovely bedding, a very comfortable stay.
A comfortable, well-equipped home with lots of nice touches. Location was great - so many beaches and lovely villages and towns to visit within an hour (and lots within 15 mins). Nice outdoor space, complete with reclining chairs to sunbathe. Be aware that dogs are not allowed upstairs in this property - the owners might like to get a stronger stairgate.
Beautiful little hideaway in a charming village setting. Only negative comment is that the sofa is not very comfortable but a minor issue. Local pub, The Red Lion, were very welcoming and the food excellent. Carol singing on Christmas Eve was lovely. Christmas tree set up in the cottage was a thoughtful touch, as well as the wood burner set and ready to be fired up. Would we visit again……yes definitely.
We spent a most enjoyable week in Legion Cottage. The location, just off the High Street is quiet despite being adjacent to the British Legion/Harbour Rooms. The house is well equipped with appliances and well maintained. Both bedrooms benefit from en-suite bathrooms and there’s a WC downstairs! Beds are very comfortable and there’s an ample supply of towels. The kitchen could do with more (less stained) mugs but that’s a minor detail. This is our go to cottage in Norfolk as the cottage is spacious and the river and views at the bottom of the garden are stunning The salt marshes are a short walk away as well as some nice bird reserves The road through stiff key can get narrow so expect some traffic back log especially when buses are coming through With the exceptional warm weather we had during our stay a small fan in the bedroom would have been good
We have an amazing week at Garden Cottage, the weather was brilliant! The cottage as before was just perfect, everything we needed! the garden is a sun trap, we enjoyed a couple of BBQ's sitting in the garden until quite late. We are looking forward to returning very soon.
Was recommended to us by friends and didn’t disappoint. Fabulous location, very quiet and nice pub up the road within walking distance. Will definitely be booking again

This cottage is lovely and in a great location for visiting coast and inland locations. Aerial may need checking as TV signal breaking up quite a bit. (those pigeons are pretty hefty)
Lovely cosy cottage, well-equipped and with interesting decor, clearly a loved and used cottage. We enjoyed our stay and being able to walk to the coast path and get a local bus so easily at the bus stop by the gate. Warm enough to have an afternoon in the little garden with interesting plants. Our arrival was slightly marred by finding the toilet pan was soiled and needed cleaning, and the kitchen floor and worktops seemed sticky. This was our second stay at Bakers Yard, and once again we had a great walking holiday. The location was ideal, with Wells-next-the-Sea and the surrounding coast within easy reach. The property was comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed. A lovely place to relax after a day out walking — we would happily stay again.
I stayed here with parents and young daughter. The house and garden were perfect. Brilliant instructions and convenient for the coast. Thankyou so much for the perfect holiday house.

Cottage is located right on the main road which can get very busy and traffic noise really disturbing. I left a day early because I couldn't put up with the noise any longer. Inside was clean but a bit scruffy e.g. the curtains don't fit very well. The lighting isn't good, one small table lamp in each room which isn't bright enough to read by and the main overhead lights very bright and not particularly relaxing. The shower could do with a usable shelf as everything has to go on the floor. The little garden is pretty and secure for dogs and there is plenty of equipment.
A very convenient location. Kitchen equipment poor in some cases. I have serious food allergies and need small saucepans,cheese grater ,veg peeler,fish slice please. Didn’t realise bathroom was downstairs. Comfortable beds and sofas. Great parking. Customer service from Norfolk Stays was very good ,thank you.
Enjoyed our stay at Chaff House Location is great for coast and inland walks Kitchen is well supplied with equipment but limited food storage areas plus the lighting was very poor The lounge/dining area is spacious with large comfy sofas - this is the best feature of the property Upstairs is cramped with small bedrooms. Double mattress very uncomfortable ie needs replacing and very dusty underneath bed indicating hadn’t been cleaned for a while The house is linked to another so could occasionally hear neighbours
Superb property in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The property covered all of our needs with beautiful furnishing. Local pub was welcoming and just a 10 minute walk away.

We had a lovely stay at Rose cottage, it was perfectly clean and the beds were super comfy. The cottage has everything you could need, it was like being at home, it is so well furnished and equipped even down to the garden furniture/bbq etc and the garden was secure for my labrador, parking outside was not a problem and it was really easy to unload the car. We loved the area and the village and nearby Burnham Market was really handy to pick up supplies. We would definitely love to come back one day
There are not enough words or complimentary adjectives to describe this fantastic cottage. It has been thoughtfully and beautifully renovated, and I was impressed with all the 'little touches' which really added to the enjoyment. The overall cleanliness and standard of furnishings and fittings is excellent. I spent a wonderful five days here, and as a 75 year old found everything comfortable and had no issues. This is a lovely cosy cottage with lots of character. It provides great views across to the sea with lots of opportunities for bird watching and walking. Also handy for the pub, shop and Cookies sea food. It suited our needs perfectly and the enclosed garden was perfect for relaxing in and also great for the dog. Just needs a vacuum cleaner that works and it would also be interesting to know something of the history of this old cottage.
