We had a great Christmas holiday in this very well-equipped holiday barn. There was a good amount of space so that we didn’t feel crowded, and it is so nice to finally be able to say that the beds were so comfy in a holiday let! It was prettily decorated for Christmas and it was probably the best equipped holiday let kitchen we’ve had anywhere; thank you it made catering on Christmas Day easy. The cottage exceeded our expectation, totally home from home, everything we needed plus some. The cottage was spotless, warm and comfortable. Bed was so comfy, I wanted to take it home. Garden is lovely, be great in warmer weather. Little shop next door is so handy and does great breakfast pastry. All in all one of the best weeks we've had, would love to go back .
A small, but very well equipped cottage within walking distance of the marshes. Very comfortable bed with quality bed linen. It was November so unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of the outside space. Everything is accurately described. The parking is very tight if there are three cars, so I opted to park on the road. Slight negatives would be low water pressure for the shower and rather uncomfortable dining chairs, however neither would put me off returning. An enjoyable week.
We had the most wonderful week at 6 Baker's Yard. The property was very comfortable, spacious, clean, really well equipped and in a great location. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and to revisit another time.
A well-equipped property in a quiet location in Holt. Disappointingly, although this appears to be a non-smoking property (rented as such through a number of other agencies/websites, including Hoseasons, Bookings.com, Trip Advisor and vrbo), the lounge had a strong, pervading smell of cigarette smoke, seemingly well-intruded into the soft furnishings – which wasn’t cleared by opening the windows on a daily basis. We have downgraded some of our ratings because of this issue. We feel that we couldn't recommend, or return to, this property until this issue is resolved - which is, well......more
Beautiful little hideaway in a charming village setting. Only negative comment is that the sofa is not very comfortable but a minor issue. Local pub, The Red Lion, were very welcoming and the food excellent. Carol singing on Christmas Eve was lovely. Christmas tree set up in the cottage was a thoughtful touch, as well as the wood burner set and ready to be fired up. Would we visit again……yes definitely.
Our third stay at Legion Cottage which indicates our satisfaction of the property and why we keep returning Due to the superb weather this year we spent much time in the rear patio/garden for breakfast and evening drinks.This drew our attention to the lack of maintenance of the patio and the lack of a parasol for the garden table. Minor points but the only slight criticism worth mentioning
Fabulous stay. Cottage very comfortable and in excellent location. Close to the coast with a lovely village shop and pub. Courtyard garden quiet and peaceful. Cottage has everything you need and we will definitely be visiting again.
We have just finished a lovely week at this superb property in West Beckham. It had so much space for our large family with comfortable beds and we just loved the huge kitchen/dinning room. The lounge was great and the log fire made it so cosy in the evenings. Massive garden was also a bonus. The location is rural, but Sheringham and Cromer are very close, and it is a short drive from the coast. Hopefully we will return.
This was our second stay at this lovely cottage as we loved it so much the first time. It suits us and the dogs perfectly and is. Dry much home from home. As mentioned last time it would be really good if there was a full length mirror upstairs but other than that we loved our stay. Sadly though we had to cut the trip short as my father died. We will be back at some stage. And thank you for your understanding
We had a lovely stay in Butterfly Barn, helped enormously by the beautiful weather! We really enjoyed the location. It was very peaceful but close to everything we wanted. The service from Norfolk Stay was excellent. The barn was very clean, well equipped but felt a bit tired and unloved. A few little extra touches would have made our stay feel a bit more special. We will definitely come back to Norfolk and will book with Norfolk Stay but we won’t come back to Butterfly Barn.
This was our second stay at Wash House and our third at Rookery Farm. The property is very spacious, warm and comfortable and provides a great base for visiting the coast. The location is very quiet and peaceful and great for dogs with easy access to surrounding footpaths. We would definitely stay here again.

We rented as two families for our friend’s 50th birthday celebrations. The place is huge, 2 kitchens, lots of bathrooms and beautiful surroundings. The property manager and housekeeping were great, allowing us slightly earlier arrival in order to set up some decorations and surprises. Overall the property and customer service is 5/5!
Started with a negative - the keys were wedged in the key lock so tool some time, a phone call to the office and a lot of jiggling to get it open. Cottage is lovely, well presented and comfortable. Its location, central to the coast road, the lovely pub and stores and the salt marshes was great. There were some cleanliness issues - extensive cobwebs on the floor/ skirting areas and previous occupants belongings found on the floor (hairgrip etc) pointing to a quick floor cleaning rather than a more thorough clean. Very nice house fantastic super king bed. Quiet village location. Great garden for children. Only problem was the washing machine did not work and was not repaired whilst we were there. Will rent this property again.
We recently stayed at Harveys cottage and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location was fantastic, and being dog-friendly was a huge plus for us. The cottage had a comfortable and homely atmosphere, making it easy to relax. However, there were a couple of issues that slightly dampened our stay. Despite requesting the bed arrangements prior to our visit, our request wasn't honored. This was a bit disappointing as it affected our comfort during the stay. The customer service and location was fantastic. The cottage is a decent size but was damp downstairs and in need of some tlc. We had a lovely stay but helped by the weather being so good, had we needed to be inside the damp would have been an issue. A little tlc and a good clean and this place would be wonderful.
We have used the Rookery farm cottage and camp site stays and have always been pleased with the service and conditions. Our only complaint is the bathroom in the Bolt hole. Access to the bath/shower for my partner is impossible due to her current disability. The bathroom desperately requires a revamp, please!!
Quiet location, grounds very attractive and well kept, great location, clean and well appointed, fenced in garden perfect for the dog, short distance for the coast and many other attractions.
We had a wonderful week in Norfolk. The local beaches are beautiful and the coastal paths provided great walks. Everything was in easy reach and despite being high summer nowhere seemed crowded. The local village is expensive so I’d advise taking as much as you can for the fridge beforehand. The cottage is very nicely decorated, well equipped and clean. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. The gardens are very close though (which is to be expected for a terraced cottage) but something to consider if you are concerned about privacy. Just a few negatives, ...more
We had a lovely family break at the Workshop. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. The house was very clean and is set in a beautiful location. The check in process was simple and the contact before our stay was excellent. The location of this property is excellent. You are close by to beautiful parks and national trust properties and close to the coast. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider staying here again.
I don’t normally write reviews but on this occasion I felt it was necessary, especially due to the lack of communication from cleaning company & landlords direct. On arrival there was a smell of dogs in the lounge, the floors had not been hoovered so there were lots of bits & fluff rolling around also carpet in lounge had lots of dog hairs on it , dog hairs & a lot of cobwebs & spiders in corners of rooms, also stains on floor in kitchen where it had not been mopped, cutlery was very stained & needs soaking in some Milton, outside space there was some dog poo & cigarette nubs that had been lef...more
