We loved our stay at Flint Cottage. Perfectly clean, fresh and bright, with wonderful views and a delightful garden, this cottage doesn't disappoint. Comfortable beds, and sofas, immaculate bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen, plus lots of little thoughtful touches and all the comforts of home which made our holiday more relaxing.
We enjoyed our stay at Bella's cottage, it's compact but has everything we needed for a short stay and very cosy with a log burner in the sitting/dining room. Very nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom with great shower and very comfy beds. Parking in the allocated space was a bit tricky as it's on the corner of a junction so we parked in the side street where there seemed to be plenty of space. Lovely friendly neighbour told us about the footpath to the local pub as there's no pavement - bit spooky in the dark, you'll need a torch!
We love the property and hope to stay again. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
This property is so close to the Quay (5 minute walk) it is a wonderful central location from which to explore Wells itself on foot. But also an excellent base to explore the North Norfolk coast and towns. The property had everything we needed for our short stay, including teabags, coffee and milk plus we were left wine and chocolates, a very thoughtful touch. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the dining table on the 1st floor looking across to the gorgeous view towards the beach road. The property was easy to find, but some specific instructions on where you are allowed to park would ...more
My partner, dog & I had a relaxing stay at this beautiful quaint cottage. We received a great welcome pack on arrival, with coffee pods, milk provided. The cottage was beautiful, warm and inviting. The decor was great and had a homely comfortable feel to it. Everything from presentation to cleanliness was faultless. We had a fantastic time there and would definetely stay there again when we return to Norfolk. Thank you for a memorable stay, so much that we didn't want to come home. I could of stayed there forever !! great thai restaurant nearby and lovely pub in nearby Melton Constable. ...more
A few details that could have been better eg Several lamps not working, fridge door chafing on plinth, instructions for waste collection not clear, waste bin in kitchen lid not operating.
The cottage was perfectly placed to explore our location. We walked to Wells during lovely weather and tackled Moreston on a lovely sunny day. The cottage was the ideal place to return to to cook our dinner and relax fir the evening.
Our cottage was a great place to stay, being within wonderful countryside, close to lots of interesting places, and only a short drive to the coast. It is well-appointed, warm, cosy and relaxing. We found it not lacking in anything, although the bathroom, which is perfectly serviceable, may perhaps benefit with a bit of a spruce-up. I have a few constructive notes that may be of help to the owners: * Please check the ceramic handhold on the shower-head attachment on the bath tap which swivels and prevents directional use * Bathroom handbasin cold tap difficult to turn off completely * Pl...more
We recently had our 3rd holiday stay at Garden Cottage. It is a cosy, pretty little 1bed cottage suitable for a couple. It is in excellent decorative order & always clean & well equipped. The garden is well fenced & private with parking immediately outside in a parking area. The position of the cottage is perfect for visiting North Norfolk with numerous National Trust properties nearby & wonderful beaches a short drive away. We highly recommend.
The facility is amazing and suited our group of 13 perfectly. The location is great and the Christmas lights were lovely. We felt that it could do with some maintenance and the cleaners should be allowed more time to deep clean and have enough time to check things like crockery before new guests arrive. We had to check and clean crockery from previous guests.
good location for seeing the whole of North Norfolk - Cromer 10 mins away - if out all day can visit Hunstanton to the East and see the seals near Yarmouth to the West. plenty of good pubs for lunch, but it was clear the cost of drink and food has risen. 2 local pubs that could be walked to for evening meals. good value for money. property had not been used during Covid, was clean and tidy and fully equipped for our stay. operating instructions for the oven need to be provided, managed to sort out in the end, not a major issue. parking was good with vehicles secure. outside security lights ...more
A lovely cottage with good amenities. Very comfortable, well equipped and spacious.Well positioned for the Norfolk coast. Excellent restaurants in the area. Brilliant to have a secure garden for our puppy. Two suggestions- there needs to be an empty cupboard in the kitchen to store groceries - all cupboards were taken up with equipment! Also the en suite bedroom needs a mirror - difficult to dry hair in the bedroom without! Lovely accommodation - thankyou.
Lovely cottages and well placed for numerous visits to suit most tastes. Road to the front not noisy so shouldn't put people off. Generally well equipped with empty storage cupboards for our provisions which was great. Milk in the fridge and some tea and coffee to get you started was nice. Also a pack of biscuits, however, when reading the visitors book we were envious at the welcome packs of old!! Only down side was the lack of a large fridge or an freezer. The advert is over generous as the integrated fridge (so space is lost) has a small ice-box. For self catering (we were 50/50...more
Cosy cottage in a good location for visiting North Norfolk. Well equipped kitchen, although would have been good to have known in advance that we required pods for the coffee maker. Good bathroom facilities (en suite shower was slow to drain). The towels are on the small size. Overall a good cottage to stay in.
It was a shame we had a rather late arrival time and then a very early departure time. Sad to say one of the radiators didn't work and with extreme weather conditions it would have improved the stay.
The cottage is lovely and in a quiet village with a nice pub. Location is great as Holkham and Brancaster beaches are 20 minutes away by car. We had a lovely time visiting these and other nice estates such as Sandrigham and good meal at the PUB one of the evenings. It was great that the cottage was pet friendly so we brought our family dog along with our children. The property had everything we needed, including some essentials (soaps/detergents etc...), but could have been a bit more clean and the kitchen is a bit outdated. There were some flies downstairs so that was not very nice and was n...more
