We have visited previously and were very happy with our long weekend in Plough Cottage. A thank you to Kate for accommodating Charlie the dog when we ended up on emergency dog-sitting duties whilst his owner was in hospital. We had several meals in the pub, including the new breakfast offering and everything was superb. The pub has a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff were extremely helpful. No doubt we will visit again.
The Bakery is just the place to stay former a comfortable short break. Well equipped and having the additional benefits of the Northbrook Arms.
We were attending my companies christmas party and so we booked the barrel room so that we didn't have to worry about booking taxi or rely on family. It was lovely accommodation, clean tidy and perfect for our 1 night stay. The extra touches of fruit and biscuits left in the kitchen and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and body wash). There was an information book in the room of places to visit, history and current menus available. We had booked breakfast in the morning that was lovely.
