We are so glad we chose to stay at the Northbrook Arms. As far as short stay accommodation goes, Plough Cottage offered all the conveniences you could want for, and many additional extras. The thoughtfulness of the welcome items, the decor and the styling of the property is wonderful. The team on site at the pub were very helpful and having the restaurant and pub next year was perfect. Thanks for having us.
Northbrook Arms ticked all our boxes. Flying in late from Australia and driving to Winchester meant we needed a quiet, comfy all amenities space for our 3 day stay. Check in was easy and communication with the owners in the lead up to our stay - excellent. We arrived, dropped our bags at ‘The bakery’ and walked across the courtyard to the pub for dinner. Perfect. All staff were friendly and helpful and our accommodation excellent. Fresh bread and condiments provided meant we didn’t need to source breakfast before starting our days. Wouldn’t do for a two week hol but absolutely perfect for two work nights away. Wonderful shower, comfy bed, nothing I’d have added. Service in the pub was excellent and food great. If/when they open for bfast we’ll be back.
