A stunning newly refurbished 4 bed/4 ensuite Georgian house situated next to The Northbrook Arms Public House in the pretty village of East Stratton, Hampshire. Perfect for large families, families sharing or groups of up to 8 guests. Attractions in the area include the city of Winchester, Marwell Zoo, Paultons Park, Micheldever Woods, Portsmouth Docks and more. Fantastic walking from the house and the ability to pop next door for a draught lager or a G&T.

We were wowed from the moment we walked in. Such a high standard of accommodation - everything you could possibly want. Bedrooms great, kitchen amazing and a cosy sitting room. Having the pub next door with such excellent staff was a great benefit. We were greeted like old friends. Will definitely be returning

The Tap House was perfect for our intergenerational family stay with grandparents, a 2 year old and dog. Having an en-suite in each bedroom makes it feel like a hotel with the comfort of all the amenities of a house. The kitchen was spacious and had enough utensils and equipment to be able to cook a full meal which really set the house apart from other rentals. The house was also spotlessly clean. Having the pub next door was perfect, and we enjoyed our meal there and found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay in the Tap House, very spacious but cosy. It was relaxing to sit out on the patio with a glass of wine. the car park can get busy in the evening when the pub/restaurant was busy, but we only went out one evening and were lucky to find a space when we returned. There was a lovely welcome basket of fresh bread and jams, as well as milk and tea/coffee. The kitchen was well equipped. Overall, beautifully decorated and good value.

We had a fantastic weekend celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at this cottage. It has been decorated to a high standard and has a very well stocked kitchen. They thought of everything. It was all clean and tidy and we had no problems during the stay.
The village is beautiful and the pub was lovely too
Highly recommended!

We were made to feel very welcome at the Northbrook Arms. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The Tap House was perfect for our family of six with plenty of space and in excellent condition. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard, prepared and presented with a great deal of care and creativity.
We hope to stay again soon and strongly recommend others choose to stay and dine here.

the tap house was lovely, right next door to the Northbrook Arms. We felt that the bedrooms would benefit from summer duvets as the beds were very warm, just during the summer season.
The Internet was not great it kept dropping out, we did mention this in the pub but I think that they were having the same problem.
We chose the blue bedroom which was great but it would have been nice to have a proper mirror in the room not just the small bathroom mirror.
Overall we had a great time.

My family and I stayed for a long weekend and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place. Lots of room for all seven of us, the en-suite bathrooms were a particular highlight! Lovely pub next door with friendly staff - we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away. Thank you!

My family loved our stay at The Tap House. Plenty of space in this comfortable property. Upstairs: four double bedrooms all with newly fitted en suite bathrooms and with one exception all the beds were comfortable. Downstairs: A family space with comfortable furniture and a TV with plenty of apps (there were also TVs in all the bedrooms). The kitchen diner was well kitted out and there was a big American style fridge freezer. The pub next door was very welcoming and served a wide range of food. Everything that we sampled was very good.

It is a quiet village with no other amenities apart from the pub and it is a popular destination for people coming to eat so the car parking is more difficult at times when the pub is open. It was OK for us in February but, from the number of tables on the green opposite that may be a problem in the summer months.

For a family get together it was great and we really enjoyed it and would recommend it for similar events.
