A beautiful Victorian stone barn conversion at the foot of the Howgill Fell's in Cumbria. Each property showcases its own original features. We provide relaxed laid back accommodation inspired by nature's textures and colours and cater for everyone from families and friends having a catch up to couples looking for a cosy getaway with a slow living feel.
The place was incredible, and we had a wonderful time.
We had booked all three parts of the building, and there were 12 of us staying, with 2 dogs, and 2 kids under 5.
It was less than 5 minutes after arrival before we saw our first Red Squirrel, which was a great start to an auspicious weekend.
The hosts were there to support us when we needed an extension to the table and some additional chairs, and we found them to be affable and welcoming. When we also bumped into them later (spying another Red Squirrel) they were keen to hear about our adventures.
