We had a great stay at The Green Cumbria, and can’t recommend it highly enough. Hosts Jem and Bek are warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the Haystore with our dog and two teenage daughters and it was faultless: beautifully furnished, beds that were very comfortable, and a kitchen equipped with everything you could need, complemented by a wonderfully curated welcome hamper of local produce. Such an amazing place to stay. Literally everything had been thought of. Felt so luxurious and amazing. The only small thing was that the houses were all very very hot even with the thermostat on 10 for our entire stay. We would obviously rather be warm than cold but it was just slightly too warm. Totally not a massive issue though and an incredible stay
We had an amazing stay as a family. The property is beautiful, with thoughtful touches and attention to detail that made the whole experience feel really special. I had a few questions before our arrival and they were answered quickly and helpfully, which made everything even smoother. The welcome pack was a lovely treat, and the location is perfect—peaceful, picturesque countryside that’s ideal for a relaxing getaway. We couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely return.
