We provide relaxed laid back accommodation inspired by nature's textures and colours and cater for everyone from families and friends having a catch up to couples looking for a cosy getaway with a slow living feel.
We loved our stay here. The Haystore feels spacious, the mezzanine was perfect for my teenager to retreat to of an evening. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, well quipped kitchen, great showers and baths and a nice big TV. Perfect for the dogs too.
We were so lucky with the weather while we were there in October and and enjoyed some gorgeous sunny autumn walks to Cautley Spout and the Ravenstonedale to Smardale Viaduct circular. We ate out at the Fat Lamb and The King's Head. The Black Swan looked good too, very fancy, but we didn't make it there ...more
We loved our stay at the Byre, it had everything you could possibly need for a week’s stay. Nice and cosy in the evenings following our walks with the wood burner and plenty of logs provided. We enjoyed seeing some great wildlife including the red squirrels…
Two great pubs in the local village serving super meals. Would definitely recommend and will be back again!
This was our second trip staying at The Green. We returned as the location is fantastic with loads of great walking, pubs and places to visit all within easy reach. The local pubs are all different and worth a visit. The house is really comfortable and has absolutely everything you could ever need…..making for a very relaxed stay. Carly and Richard are really relaxed hosts allowing you to really enjoy your stay. Well worth visiting!
