We are a group pf 8 ladies of a certain age who meet up once a year to catch up. We chose The Rookery in 2025 and loved it so much we booked it for 2026. This year, we booked again for 2027! Beautiful property, beautiful view, beautiful bedrooms (all 9 of them, we usually find with properties of this size that one or two rooms are below par. That's certainly not the case at The Rookery, every room is tastefully decorated, has its own en suite and is spacious and very comfortable. The beds are superb!). This is our second year staying at the Kingfisher cottage and we have had another brilliant weekend. The space is perfect for multiple families getting together and is really set up for big groups. The hosts were so helpful with helping with check in/check out times and all our other needs (travel cots, high chairs etc). Thank you for another lovely stay!
Hi we’ve just got back from a night away at Cart Cottage as our daughter was getting married at a venue not far away from cart cottage, it was perfect for our stay plenty of room for a makeup artist and hair dresser as well to start early in the morning, the views are amazing the grandchildren loved it, only wish the weather was better to appreciate it more, but very well equipped has everything we needed, beds were very comfortable, would definitely be staying again if we are in the area x
A great location, with beautiful views. Drake was really comfortable, and had everything we needed for a very relaxing few days. Would absolutely recommend!
A lovely cosy cottage in set in beautiful surrounding countryside. The cottage was very well equipped with modern facilities.
