The studio is very cosy, comfortable and equipped to a high standard. It has everything you need for a short stay, is quiet and overlooks a lovely paddock with mature trees. I was there on my own and it was perfect for me but had my partner and dog also come as planned we would have struggled for space. The farm shop is well stocked and serves great coffee.

This is our second time staying at Marcassie Farm Lodges. It’s the perfect location close to Findhorn beach, Forres Town and the Dava way for walking. The lodges are so comfortable and clean and the farm is a dynamic, interesting and a beautiful setting. Once again Betsy, Sven and family made us feel very welcome and we felt ever so relaxed here. There is also a lovely farm shop run by Gulli with fresh vegetables, local artisan food. Delicious freshly home made, cakes, soup and baked treats. A really stunning place and friendly people.

We can’t recommend Marcassie farm enough. Words sometimes feel trivial to describe something that touches your soul. Betsy and Sven have created such an inviting environment and the lodges are situated at the heart of the land. You can really feel the love and energy at the farm that has been nurtured over many years. The classic and modern lodges are comfortable, cosy and homely, with an exceptional attention to detail and design. Everyone is so warm and friendly and we came away with a strong sense of connection and peace. Perfect for our toddler Arthur to roam around with the chickens and ducks, gathering apples and conkers. Can’t wait to visit again very soon. Peter, Charlie & Arthur x

We came across this lovely lodge whilst looking for a last minute visit up to Scotland. Very nice and quite place to stay, the price was very reasonable. The lodges are well equipped with everything you need, very warm and comfortable. Excellent communication with Betsy, We loved the lodge that much we needed up booking for a further 3 days.

Beautiful location in the Scottish countryside. The basket workshop is amazing. Having a car or bike is useful to get away and/or to the nearest town with public transport (Forres).

I have now used The Ting Hoose twice for nutritional presentations and cooking. The place is absolutely beautiful and Sven and Betsy provided a great deal of support for setting up for these courses. The rooms are bright and clean, giving a welcoming atmosphere to those attending the courses. During the break, participants are able to enjoy the stunning view on the balcony whilst enjoying a cuppa!
I really could not recommend the space enough both for one day courses and longer retreats.

I love the Ting Hoose! It's a great, intimate venue in such a beautiful, calming setting.

It's the perfect place to run my wellbeing events for mums and I plan to keep coming back for the forseeable future. The team at Marcassie Farm are really accommodating and supportive and I can't recommend this venue enough.

We hired Ting Hoos for a one day development day for our organisation. We were delighted with the setting, the comfort and ease of use, and the food was out of this world, all of which are hugely important to the success of a training, It meant that every attendee said they would be very happy to return another time. Highly recommended.
